I live in a 2 story condo with 2 private balcony's. I am on the end unit and have that side of yard (not fenced) to myself. I installed 3 separate auger tie-out cables into the ground., each 30 ft. The condo association takes care of the yard so it is well maintained. This is roughly a 10 unit dwelling surrounded by houses. 75% familys. We also have our own park. walking path and a field dedicated to dogs. I live up against BLM land so there is an awesome path to walk up as well. At Doggie Daycare they all know when it's time to go for there afternoon walks it is the cutest thing to watch them go to the front door and wait. I'm old school and still live by "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" And " treat it like it was your own" I believe all living things and non should be treated with respect. I can assure you lots of play time and love!

My two boys play well and do enjoy being a part of a pack. If a client has something particular I am very good at following and respecting their wishes for their fur babies as they are members of our family. Whatever it takes to make my clients feel safe I'm more than happy to do so. I have a file book on my clients with all special instructions. During our first meet and greet I'll take some time to have you fill out an emergency contact list with all the do's and don'ts and any issues or triggers your animal might have in addition I will send daily photos or weekly photos an updates to make you feel safe and comfortable.

A typical day

I keep a structured schedule, all our feeding are between 5:30am-7am. Then after 30 minutes or so we have 20 minute play time then we rest then head to our neighborhood park around 1:00 p.m. and exercise for one full hour or longer then we come back and have treats! a nap, the and then supper is between 5:30 and 6:00pm. After supper playtime is the most fun.! When I first take on a new animal I like to take a few weeks getting to know them their personalities likes and dislikes and then I can cater to their needs. I do keep quite a bit of toys here and I like to let them sniff out what is appealing to them most and I let them tell me it's all about listening quietly to them.

Pet care experience

1st ingredient is passion! Ive had a love for animals since is was a kid. After high school I went to school in Manhattan and worked walking dogs and was hooked. I Went on to get my certification in basic obedience training. I have worked on and off my whole life with dogs it is truly the best job in the world to me. All the years that i have been with dogs all my clients say I am trustworthy, reliable and will go beyond the call of duty to help animals. My main objective whenever I take on an animal of any kind is Safety First! I always evaluate the animal to see how it responds to its owner and then how it responds to me and then how we respond together as a pack. Even if the client tells me their animal is okay to walk with me with other animals if I sense any sort of tension I will say no. Dogs do not have the ability to reason that's why it is very very important to speak their language and sometimes that takes a lot of patience which I have because of my devotion.

Nikki went above and beyond for us and for Nemo, she’s one of the best Rovers I’ve had. First, we needed a Rover super last minute when something urgent came up and she got back to me right away. She was able to take Nemo the evening of the day I messaged her! She was also super sweet and sent lots of photos and videos. Additionally, she sent us home with a card, a little baked treat, and a toy that she made for Nemo! She is so sweet and I would definitely book again!

She is amazing with her knowledge about dog training and care. She showed us how to leash train our dog correctly and other training techniques. The dogs love her and she is a genuine animal lover. A lovely person. ❤️🐾

Nikki was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Enero and Angelina! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. While we were away, she kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It wasn't just that she was doing her job—it was obvious from the way she interacted with them that she truly cared about their happiness, comfort, and well-being. Both dogs looked relaxed, happy, and well-loved in every update. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure they were cared for, and we could tell they enjoyed their time with her. We highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We would gladly have her watch Enero and Angelina again!
