Growing up on a farm in the Midwest, animals have always been a big part of my life. From an early age, I learned the joy and responsibility that comes with caring for them. I spent eight wonderful years working at a local veterinary hospital, where I was lucky enough to care for animals of all shapes and sizes. Over time, I’ve gained experience giving medications, bottle feeding newborns, grooming, and providing gentle, loving attention to every animal in my care. The truth is, I’ve never met an animal I didn’t love—and they’ve always found a way to love me right back.

Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home features a securely fenced yard, perfect for safe outdoor play, and I’m surrounded by pet-friendly parks ideal for fun and enriching walks. Inside, cats can enjoy climbing and lounging on a cozy cat tree, along with plenty of toys to keep them engaged and content. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for all kinds of furry companions. When visiting your home for dog walks or drop-in visits, I take great care to follow all of your instructions closely to ensure your pet feels safe, secure, and loved in their familiar space. Whether it’s administering medications, sticking to routines, or simply offering extra cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own.

We cannot thank Lisa enough for the incredible care she gave to Dottie our 5-month-old Bordie Collie puppy. We were a bit concerned that Dottie may regress after all the effort we’ve put into her training and housebreaking while staying in a different home for a week. Instead, we were overjoyed to see that she returned to us with even more skills than she left with. It’s clear how much time and effort Lisa put into reinforcing Dottie’s potty training. She even introduced a food maze to help her slow down while eating-something we so appreciate, since Dottie is always enthusiastic at mealtime! We were especially surprised (and grateful) that Dottie no longer tried to go for our other dog Peppers food bowl, which shows just how much thoughtful attention Lisa gave her. Overall, we were deeply impressed with the love, patience, and dedication Lisa showed while caring for Dottie. Puppies require so much consistency and kindness, and it’s obvious Dottie received both in abundance.

Nikki took such great care of my cat while I was out of town. She is communicative, respectful, and sends great check-in photos to reassure you that your baby is ok! Highly recommend!
Nikki is excellent! She sent us daily updates of our pup and constantly let us know how she was doing. We greatly appreciate it. We highly recommend her to everyone!

Schedule
I do work full time, but have the ability to do drop-ins and walks before work, at lunch, and after work. I do not work on the weekends, so my schedule is flexible.
