Hi there! My name is Nikki. Thank you for expressing interest in my services. Growing up with dogs, I always knew I wanted to eventually work with them. I used to work at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a couple years during college in Charlotte. Through my work there I gained knowledge on the proper handling and management of dogs individually and in a group setting. Dogs are not humans, so of course they have their own ways of communicating! I am specialized in recognizing and understanding their behavior. I also worked as a Client Care Specialist at an Animal Hospital in Wilmington. Over the years I have done professional dog sitting and walking. I am now currently a preschool teacher and I continue to dog sit and walk on the side. Dogs are a part of our families, so they must be treated as such. Aside from professional experience, I also have personal experience dealing with a variety of breeds since a young age. I currently have a dog of my own who I rescued in 2017. He is the love of my life! He is very friendly and does not mind sharing his space with others. More about me: I am 25 years old. I am mostly a homebody, but I do enjoy being out in nature a lot. I graduated from UNCC (double major with Psychology and Philosophy). I am currently a Preschool Teacher and I also teach yoga! I would love to care for your pup! Contact me with the dates, times, and services you are interested in. 2. We can schedule a meet and greet that works for you. Meet and greats typically take less than 30 minutes. I have a small dog park near my home that is available. 3. After the meet and greet I will confirm the dates and services on Rover. 4. You will receive text messages and notifications from Rover, these will be how you receive updates and photos throughout the stay! If you have specific questions, want a photo etc. please don't be shy and send me a message! 5. Pick up time is by 9am. If you need a later pick up please let me know prior so we can modify the booking fee to reflect service for the entire day or an extra night if needed.
