Pets have always been one of the greatest joys in my life. My family had dogs when I was a kid and I've had both dogs and cats my entire life. I worked in an intern program at a vet in high school and I've volunteered for animal rescue groups for over 2 decades. I have cared for my cats as they aged and helped friends with their elderly pets when they've had to be away. I'm very detail oriented, my primary job is work from home, as a solutions engineer for a background screening company so I am flexible with scheduling. I am vaccinated & happy to weara mask for meetups if desired.

Safety, trust & environment
If you want a check in service, I'll spend plenty of time making sure the space is safe and clean, that your pets have food, water, and other needs met. I'll play with them, pet them, or leave them alone if that's what they prefer (especially some cats are like that) and I will treat your space with respect. If I'm staying overnight or all day, I will probably be working during the day, but I love to pet animals while I am working and I will leave your space clean and tidy. On walks we'll go as long as you want, or until the pet seems to tell me they're done. I'll report back on success of potty breaks, any concerns, and pickup after them.

Nikki was so good with our pups. She sent plenty of updates and pictures. She left everything very clean and I felt comfortable with her staying in my home. She was super personable when we met and also very flexible. Highly recommend:)

Nikki helped take care of my 5yo chihuahua who recently had surgery and stitches, while I was at work. She followed all of the instructions closely. She sent updates and pictures throughout the day. She bonded well with my dog and seemed to help her feel calm, even when I wasn’t there. I would definitely recommend this person for your dog sitting needs.
Nikki watched our dog for two weeks in our place and was absolutely amazing. The updates provided throughout our vacation really allowed us to feel good knowing Eva was with a responsible and loving person. If we end up moving here we’ll never use anyone else! Thank you Nikki 🙏
Nikki provided excellent care for our 4 month old puppy. Communication was clear and timely, and we appreciated the regular photo updates while we were gone, which added a great personal touch to the service!
Nikki was so great. My dog is super anxious and best when kept on a very specific schedule and Nikki followed all the directions and created the best environment for my girl. She was great!

Schedule
I work full time, Monday - Friday but it can be from anywhere with internet. I'm happy to do longer sits, either overnight or multiple days in a row for check-ins, and I'm available for dog walking and pet drop ins as needed!
