We love pets and did 30+ petsit
Over the past 18 months, we have completed more than 30 pet sits together through TrustedHousesitters in the UK. We have 18 five-star (all 5stars) reviews on Nikita’s account and 16 on Olga’s. We used separate accounts during our first year, before TrustedHousesitters introduced the Duo Sitters feature. We have cared for cats and dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities. We are calm, organised and reliable, and we follow feeding, walking, medication and household instructions carefully. We are also easy to communicate with and are happy to send regular photos and updates. As we both work remotely, we spend most of the day at home. This means pets usually have plenty of company, attention and time to settle into a comfortable routine with us. Nikita is a game developer, and Olga runs a software company focused on mobile apps. We work hard on our own projects and have very few calls, which makes us flexible. In the past, Olga was a Head of Product in a corporation, managing a product with 80 million MAU and a team of 30 people. We genuinely enjoy having animals around while we work. Our service can include feeding, dog walks, playtime, litter tray cleaning, basic medication, watering plants, collecting post and keeping the home clean and tidy. We are comfortable with both cats and dogs, including larger dogs, and can discuss caring for other animals depending on their needs. We can also rent a car when the location or pet’s routine requires one. We are mainly looking for longer house sits with a good, reliable Wi-Fi connection. We started pet sitting because we enjoy travelling, experiencing new places and spending time with animals. After several last-minute cancellations on TrustedHousesitters, we decided to offer pet sitting as a paid side business. We genuinely enjoy the experience and want to continue doing it more regularly. Safety, trust & environment
We only care for pets in the owner’s home, as we do not have a permanent place where we can host pets ourselves. This means your pet can stay in their familiar environment, with their usual routine, smells, toys and sleeping spots. We always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, doors, leads, garden access and any specific house rules. We are calm, tidy and respectful guests, and we keep owners updated so they know their pet and home are safe.

Having Nikita & Olga in our home for over 4 weeks was a longer than usual THS stay for us and I need not have worried! What a thoughtful couple - quiet, considered and hard working. They don't watch TV and just needed some work spaces and their matcha tea! Very self sufficient. But the real bonus was caring for our working cocker spaniel - it was clear how much they enjoyed each others company, and they sent regular videos of their long walks in Surrey Hills and Wimbledon common. Highly recommend this couple and they are welcome back anytime
This was the third time we have had Nikita and Olga sit with Napoleon in our house, and we would be very happy to have them back again sometime. All went very well; a lot of photos, and Napoleon seemed to enjoy their company
I felt Bobby was in good hands with Nikita and Olga, they stayed at my home and left it in a clean and tidy condition. They sent photos everyday which was really lovely, it looked like he was very happy and getting lots of attention. They were reliable, organised and communication was great throughout. I would be very happy for them to look after Bobby again in the future.
Olga and Nikita looked after our cat and dog for three weeks (on the THS platform), and we could not have been happier. They were exceptionally organised, reliable and thoughtful. Our pets were clearly very happy, and the house was left spotlessly clean. They also kindly helped with deliveries and dealt with a few unexpected household issues while we were away. Communication was always easy and open. They are genuinely interesting people and highly professional in everything they do. We would recommend them without hesitation.
Nikita and Olga stayed in our home for three weeks and did a perfect job caring for our pets, Sib, our rescued dog, and Remi, our Russian Blue cat, while also looking after everything else. Most importantly, our pets were active, happy, and clearly very well cared for throughout their stay. I received photos every day, which gave me real peace of mind. On top of that, all of our indoor and outdoor plants survived the heatwave, and the house was spotless when I returned. They are incredibly organised, attentive, and reliable. I highly recommend them and wish them all the best!

Schedule
My partner and I are software professionals and both work full-time remotely, so we spend most of our time at home and keep a very steady daily routine. We usually get up around 8 to 9am. If we are caring for a dog, we normally do a morning walk between 8 and 10am, and a second walk in the early evening, usually between 5 and 7pm. We work in the local time zone and usually go to bed around 11pm. Our routine is fairly consistent every day. Occasionally I may go to Imperial College London for my MBA, or to a meeting with other software professionals in London, but we rarely go out together, so one of us is usually at home.
