I (Niki) have been passionate about animals my entire life. I grew up with a miniature goldendoodle and my partner Zach and I currently have a mixed breed sweet girl named Alise, who was adopted from an animal shelter. We would love the opportunity to meet your furry friend! We do not have any breed preference and have experience with all sizes, even Great Danes and Mastiffs! Each pet in our care will be provided with individual attention, accommodating for special needs when necessary (medication, specific food instruction, etc). I love learning the different personalities of each animal and what their favorite things are (bellyrubs, frisbees, tennis balls, ear scratches). If your dog loves walks and lots of petting and play, then I think we will be the perfect match! I always insist on a Meet & Greet for new clients (if it’s possible) to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable, including the animals. We are so glad we could leave Ollie with Nikki, Zach and Elise! They are very caring dog lovers and have lots of space for running around and playing. Next time we need boarding for Ollie in the area we will for sure be back. Highly recommend!
They communicated well. They sent pictures of Maky and her activities through the day. We only met Zach and he was friendly and articulate. We would use Niki and Zach again for pet sitting when we are in the area.

Loved getting the pictures and progress report. They were kind even after our pup devoured a dog bed. We will bring our dogs. A wonderful doggie paradise where they can run and play.
Niki & Zach were great communicators and Bowie & Phoebe had a good day staying with them! Phoebe is typically a bit anxious but she was happy & comfortable staying with them. Thanks for watching them for the day while we explored Bayfield!

Our schedule is very flexible and we are open to providing pet care every day of the week. I will keep our availability calendar up to date to always display our availability accurately.

Safety, trust & environment
My partner Zach and I live on 30 acres, so dogs have plenty of space to run around and explore! We spend a lot of time outside gardening and chopping firewood, so dogs will get lots of fresh air and stimulation. There is also a nice comfy couch in front of the wood stove, making for a perfect cozy nap spot for cats or dogs. At client’s homes, we will follow the provided care instructions and make sure all needs are met, with bonus pets and play of course. We will use our experience to make judgement calls when unplanned things arise, and keep an open communication line with the client. I always provide photos and detailed written updates to the client as well so they stay informed and up to date with their pet’s care.
Pets
A typical day
When we are caring for dogs, they are always smothered with pets and lots of love! We will always provide walks, time outside, pets, and play to provide stimulation and fun. I like to do short command sessions with dogs to keep them engaged and satisfied (sit, stay, lay down, come) and they always seem to love it!
