My partner Zach and I live on 30 acres, so dogs have plenty of space to run around and explore! We spend a lot of time outside gardening and chopping firewood, so dogs will get lots of fresh air and stimulation. There is also a nice comfy couch in front of the wood stove, making for a perfect cozy nap spot for cats or dogs. At client’s homes, we will follow the provided care instructions and make sure all needs are met, with bonus pets and play of course. We will use our experience to make judgement calls when unplanned things arise, and keep an open communication line with the client. I always provide photos and detailed written updates to the client as well so they stay informed and up to date with their pet’s care.

Please let me know if your dog has any special care instructions, needs medication administered, or is recovering from an injury. I also will ask for the name of their vet just in case there was an emergency.

When we are caring for dogs, they are always smothered with pets and lots of love! We will always provide walks, time outside, pets, and play to provide stimulation and fun. I like to do short command sessions with dogs to keep them engaged and satisfied (sit, stay, lay down, come) and they always seem to love it!

I (Niki) have been passionate about animals my entire life. I grew up with a miniature goldendoodle and my partner Zach and I currently have a mixed breed sweet girl named Alise, who was adopted from an animal shelter. We would love the opportunity to meet your furry friend! We do not have any breed preference and have experience with all sizes, even Great Danes and Mastiffs! Each pet in our care will be provided with individual attention, accommodating for special needs when necessary (medication, specific food instruction, etc). I love learning the different personalities of each animal and what their favorite things are (bellyrubs, frisbees, tennis balls, ear scratches). If your dog loves walks and lots of petting and play, then I think we will be the perfect match! I always insist on a Meet & Greet for new clients (if it’s possible) to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable, including the animals. Zach and Niki are repeat caregivers for our two dogs and we have no worries while we are away. Our dogs are happy and content and they are reliable as well as great communicators.
