Safety, trust & environment
For services in your home, dogs must be safe with children, as I will typically have my toddler with me. For walks, reasonably good leash manners are required; I must be able to keep control of your pup while pushing a stroller. I accept a limited number of boarding and daycare dogs at a time, so they can get plenty of attention! This is my full time job; I’ll almost always be home with your pup. On days I am out for extended periods, such as at my dogs’ sports clubs and events, your dog is welcome to come along. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority! Going to school for dog training made me an expert at reading their body language, which I put to use in monitoring all interactions between your pup and mine. If your dog isn’t friendly or simply prefers not to interact with other dogs or kids, I have no problem accommodating them. With a four bedroom house, there’s plenty of space for them to have to themself. All boarding and daycare dogs should be crate trained to keep their stay stress free. If I cannot be monitoring your dog because I am sleeping or leaving the house for a short time, they will be kept safe in a crate. Boarding and daycare include constant access to fresh water, feeding as directed by you, playtime and potty breaks in the yard, and any needs specific to them (ex: administering medication or brushing if necessary for their coat type). Full grooms (bath, blow dry, nail trim, ear cleaning, and hair clip if aplicable) are available for $20 an hour. The length of the groom depends on the pup’s cooperation, size, and coat. What to Bring: 1) Your healthy, well-groomed pup on a 4-6 foot leash attached to a collar or harness they cannot slip out of. (They must be up to date on their DAPP and rabies vaccines or titers, and have a negative fecal and heartworm test within the last 12 months. They must not have any signs of illness or injury, such as coughing, diarrhea, or undiagnosed lameness, within the week before their stay. Grooming add-on service will be required for any dog dropped off with matted fur, dangerously overgrown nails, foul odor, etc.) 2) Enough food for your dog’s stay 3) Any equipment specific to your dog’s needs (medications, puppy pads, etc.) and any other supplies you think will make your pet’s time here feel more like home (crate, treats, toys, etc.)

Information Niki F. would like to know about your pet
• Does your dog have any fears I should be aware of? (Vacuum, fireworks, etc.) • Does your dog enjoy being around other dogs, or would they prefer to have their own space? • Have they ever shown aggression (bit a person or dog or attempted to do so)? This will not affect my willingness to care for them, but it is very important to know in order to keep everyone safe. • Does your dog have any allergies or other medical conditions, and are they on medication?
A typical day
I strive to keep your dog's life enriched both physically and mentally. As important as it is to exercise their body, it's also great to work your dog's brain. Your pup can enjoy making new friends, lots of playtime in the yard, a variety of chew toys, doggy food puzzles, and training!

Very caring

I keep leaving reviews bc I keep coming back to Niki when I need a good, reliable sitter for my dogs💜 I very highly recommend!!

Niki is amazing! This was her second time keeping my dog and first keeping our kitten. We were running late coming home from out of town, she worked with us and I greatly appreciated it!

Once again, AMAZING experience! This time I asked Niki to watch a new pup along w my regular two and I’m so happy I did. Not only did she win him over, she was also able to observe behaviors that he doesn’t exhibit in my house. Oh, and my regularly extra timid boy? Nope, apparently now in love with Niki. He invited himself onto the couch and solicited affection! It’s such a relief to know they are all so well care for while im gone 💜
