Loving and Fun Pet Care Provider :)
I have been caring for pets since I was ten years old. My family has adopted dogs, cats, snakes, tarantulas, and several other animals throughout my childhood. I have learned a lot about the general nature of many different species of animals, and I will use this knowledge to care for any pets I sit for. I have more recently been attending training classes for my miniature schnauzer, so I also have some foundational dog training knowledge. This could prove to be useful for any dog parents I sit for.

Nika is a true gem! She takes the best care of my kitties, and even went to the trouble of administering medication. Having her there made me so much more comfortable traveling, knowing my baby’s special needs were cared for.

Nika was amazing with my Luna. She showed up with such a warm, friendly energy, and Luna loved her right away. Nika stayed in great communication the whole time, sending regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. She even took Luna on walks, which made her so happy. She was also very flexible with her time and was kind enough to stay a little longer until I got home. That level of care made it easy for me to fully trust her with Luna. I’ll definitely be booking her again and recommending her to my friends.

I currently work 3 days a week at Vanderbilt Hospital and am in school. I update my calendar as the schedule gets released, but please feel free to message me if you’re interested in knowing about my availability for future dates.

Pet parents know their animal best. While I have general knowledge about how to keep pets safe, I am also dedicated to following the instructions left by pet parents. I want pet parents to know that I am looking to provide a safe and enriching experience for their pets whether I am pet-sitting or taking them on a walk.

A typical day
I love engaging in various fun activities with the dogs I watch! Some of the activities I enjoy include playing fetch in the park, going on hikes on nature trails, and creating “sniffari” obstacle courses. As for special places I like to go on walks, I have a few favorites. There's a lake near my home where dogs can sniff around and enjoy the water. Additionally, Shelby Park provides a peaceful and refreshing environment for our walks. I always make sure to explore different places to keep the dogs entertained and provide them with new experiences.
