Nija and Amora took amazing care of our 6-month-old puppy, Penny, this weekend! They gave her so much love and attention, took her on multiple-mile walks, and treated her like she was one of their own. It was clear she was happy, well cared for, and had an incredible time. We felt completely at ease knowing she was in such caring hands, and we’re so grateful for everything they did. We would absolutely trust them with Penny again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for wonderful, loving pet sitters! ❤️🐾

Poppy loved spending the week with Nija and her daughter Amora. She got tons of walks (outdoor and indoor when it was hot) and play time and she was treated as part of the family! She’s been happy and tuckered out from a fun week away since getting back home!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I’m currently working on several projects from home and walk and board dogs as a side business. Spending time with dogs brings me a great deal of joy, and I genuinely enjoy being part of their daily routine. I grew up with cats, but as an adult I’ve developed a real love for dogs. They’re incredibly sweet, and I’ve learned how to communicate with them in a calm, confident way that helps create a safe and enjoyable experience. I prefer working with routine clients so that I can get to know both the dogs and their families. I currently walk two dogs and would love to add one or two additional families to my schedule. I’m primarily looking for clients in or near the North and South Carolina area. Staying close to home allows me to spend more time focusing on your dog and less time sitting in traffic. A relaxed schedule helps create a calmer experience for both your pet and me. Dogs have brought a lot of happiness to my life, and I’d love the opportunity to provide your dog with exercise, attention, affection, and dependable care. Feel free to call or message me so we can talk about your dog, their personality, routine, and specific needs. Finding the right fit is important, and I want to make sure both you and your dog feel comfortable and confident.

Safety, trust & environment

I typically take pups for walks while their owners are at work and have also provided in-home boarding for friends’ dogs over the past year when they’ve traveled. If your dog stays with me, I maintain a clean environment with daily floor cleaning and access to my front patio. I also live near the Greenway, which provides a great place for walks and fresh air. For safety, I keep dogs separated during walks unless otherwise discussed. I provide lunch (if requested), treats approved by the owner, plenty of affection, belly rubs, and positive attention throughout the day. Standard walks are about 15 to 30 minutes, but I’m happy to discuss longer walks based on your dog’s needs. I enjoy being active and regularly walk several miles each day, so giving dogs exercise is something I genuinely enjoy. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾

A typical day

I normally walk the dogs and tailor activities to each dog’s experience, age, energy level, and comfort on a leash. Some dogs enjoy longer walks and exploring, while others prefer a shorter stroll and more playtime. I’m happy to discuss your dog’s specific needs and create a routine that works best for them. My goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable experience that matches your dog’s personality and activity level. 🐾

Please let me know about your pet’s daily routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, favorite activities, and any commands they know and respond to. I’d also love to hear about their favorite games, walking routes, parks, or neighborhood friends they enjoy seeing. If your pet has any special needs, medical conditions, medications, behavioral concerns, fears, or preferences, please be prepared to share that information so I can provide the best possible care and make their time with me safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. 🐾
