I am definitely a dog person, having had dogs for the last twenty years, The first dog of my married life came from the Dogs Trust when it was NCDL, so that shows how long I have had dogs. All of my furry friends have been a rescue of some kind so i am happy to work with the more 'challenged' doggies.

After such a great experience the first time, we had no hesitation choosing Nigel and his family to look after Jackson again. Once again, he was so well cared for and we could relax knowing he was with people we trust. We feel very lucky to have found such a kind and reliable family for our old boy. Nigel and his family took wonderful care of our 16-year-old Jackson, who is blind and needs extra attention because of his age. They were very patient and caring, kept us updated with lovely photos, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Jackson settled in really well and it was clear that the whole family genuinely loves dogs. We couldn’t have asked for better care. ❤️🐶
Our old doggy Bob stayed with Nigel for two nights. He recently lost his owner and had to relocate to our home so we were looking for a home setting so as not to disturb him too much. We found the perfect place, Nigel was warm and welcoming of us and Bob along with all his little quirks! When we picked him up he had made himself very at home. He certainly had a lot of love whilst he stayed with Nigel, thank you so much for looking after Bob so well. Would thoroughly recommend Nigel as a trusted carer.
First time using Rover for Bracken, our lively and talkative Border Collie. Nigel and his wife provided a great service. Great communication and care provided. Would definitely recommend.

Personally, I am semi-retired, and have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. The family would be lost without our furry friend.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs have always had the run of the houses, but can accommodate any cages if needed, younger dogs have always been caged at night to start with. A large garden, and located next to far reaching fields which is enough for even the most energetic of furry friends. Operating a twice daily feed (after walks) and love giving meaty treats to anyone that visits (Human or canine!)

- Special needs need to be clearly defined, any additional services can be added at a cost to be agreed. Any more detailed training can be arranged if needed. Trainers are available locally, whether it be 'puppy' classes or more advanced training. Additional training is at additional cost and transport costs may be added.
