I have always had dogs in my life and until recently I was lucky enough to share my life with two rhodesian ridgebacks so larger dogs are very welcome.for a long time now I have been looking after friends and neighbours pets whilst they have been away, cos so many of us now don't like to use kennels. I live in a small cottage in a quiet village in Cheshire. I have a modest safe garden but the big advantage is I am on the doorstep of marbury country park which is dog paradise,complete with lake,woodlands and many friends to meet and greet I now have a small Jackapoo called Ted he is small and black and is very cute,he loves the company of all the dogs that come and stay and he certainly misses them when he is on his own. Nigel was easy to communicate with, thorough in understanding our dogs needs and provided a clearly safe and comfortable space for her stay. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself and I would recommend Nigel to anyone in the area.
Unfortunately our experience wasn't a great one. It's the first time in 14 years that I have left my dog with a sitter and I was extremely disappointed. I ticked to receive pictures of him whilst on holiday and didn't receive anything. As you can imagine we were extremely nervous leaving him but when I first read Nigel's profile and reviews I was very hopeful and thought I'd made a good choice. My husband did the initial meet and greet and found Nigel to be quite rude and my dog was bitten by another dog in his care. My sister then dropped my dog off with Nigel and again he was very rude and unhelpful towards her and complained where she had parked and didn't help her with my dogs belongings on arrival. Finally when I went to collect, Nigel was also very rude and unfriendly towards me (that's 3 people from one family who had a bad experience with him). He complained about my dog trying to hump the female dog he was looking after (he's been neutered) he didn't help me with any belongings to the car and had no positive feedback. Every interaction face to face was just rude, unhelpful and far from pleasent. I picked him based on the positive reviews but I didn't have that experience. My dog is 14 and I would have appreciated better care.
Daisy's first time with Nigel while we were in Malta for ten days. We were really glad we made the right choice. Think she had a really nice time with Nigel and Paul and really enjoyed spending time with teddy and the other dogs. So I expect she will be visiting again sometime in the future.
Bonnie seemed at ease very early during the meet and greet with Nigel which gave me confidence to leave her in his care. Thanks for looking after her Nigel!
We were very happy to leave Teddy with Nigel for our week away. Teddy felt at ease as soon as we had our Meet and Greet at Nigel’s home and was happy to be with Nigel’s own dog Teddy. Nigel was able to take Teddy for walks and runs in nearby Marbury Park which is a real bonus. Thankyou Nigel for taking good care of Teddy. 🐕🦺
Bonso always has a great time with Nigel.

I am retired so I’m at home all the time to care for the dogs in my care. I walk them all twice a dayi
