I always have the safety and welfare of the pets as my number one priority when I am on a sit. One of my first questions to homeowners is how secure is your garden. Another important question is do you want me to walk your dog off or on lead, followed by how good is the dogs recall?

I have sat all sizes and ages of dogs, from 16 week old pups to 16 year olds, from Shih tzus to Pyrennean mountain dogs, Border terrier to rhodesian Ridgebacks, I am happy to walk dogs off lead that have good recall.
A typical day
I love going for walks so having a dog or two, or more if small!, is just wonderful, I love seeing dogs thoroughly enjoying themselves on their walks, seeing a dog curled up after a walk snoring gently brings a smile to my face.

Pet care experience
I have been sitting all year round since Christmas 2017 and have loved every minute! I've taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes, cats, chickens, pigs, even a snake, all in varying homes of size and location from rural mansions to suburban terraces. I've been accepted to sit in over 60 homes, repeatedly being asked to return by very satisfied homeowners, some have been so impressed by my standard of care they have even recommended me to family and friends, The homeowners have made lots of lovely positive comments about how happy their pets are on their return and also how clean and tidy their home is too, I love looking after homeowners pets, taking great care of them and their homes, Thank you for reading my profile, I hope to sit for you in the near future.

Very professional and responsible Sitter – took care of both my pets and my house perfectly whilst we were away
First time using Rover and was a little apprehensive, Nigel came for a meet & greet & instantly clicked with our 3 small dogs :-) we received pupdates while away & the house was left in great condition, will certainly be using Nigel again & would absolutely recommend him. Nigel clearly cares for the dogs like they were his own - thank you Nigel!
