Pet care experience

Eat. Play. Love

Hi! I’m Nieves, and I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large breeds and focus on providing loving, reliable, and attentive care. I work as a team with my roommate, Joseph Saccente, who is also an active Rover sitter. We coordinate schedules so your pet always has supervision and care. We’re generally available daily, except when fully booked or on a planned day off. Pets are welcome in our home and can relax on the couch, bed, or their own space—your choice. We have a large yard and two acres of unfenced land for supervised outdoor time. I’m happy to help with medications, vet visits, and special needs.

Nieves made Willow feel right at home. She was really flexible with my pick-up/drop-off timing. And I really appreciated all the updates during my sweet girl’s visit.

When we pick Bonnie up I had to go back and get the food bowl and when I did, he sprayed the dogs with a water sprayer to keep them from going near the door which I thought was inappropriate. Then when we got home, I noticed her container of food that we gave them was only missing a tiny amount. I gave him a 36 cup container. There should’ve been at least half a container missing if she was fed 2 cups a day three times a day. Then when we tried to find another border and they accidentally got texted by Rover as a suggested second backup they got angry and said she pooped and peed in the house, but we never have that issue. Bonnie whimpers when she has to go out and go to the bathroom. They have usually a lot of dogs when we go to pick her up or drop her off in a tiny house and whenever I get there, the dogs all seem to be in one room so obviously we had concerns and are no longer boarding with them and looking for other borders

Good basic care. My girl was well taken care of. Nieves does a good job juggling the care of several dogs!

We booked Nieves to keep our two labs overnight at the last minute while on vacation in Maine. Nieves and Joey were thoughtful about the information they needed to keep our dogs safe and happy and clearly are experienced and loving animal caretakers! They sent us updates while they had our dogs and were over the top flexible with us as our return plans were fluid. We really appreciated the care they gave our pups and would certainly book them again if back in the area!

Schedule

Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins so pets get consistent attention and care throughout the day.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are my top priorities. I work as a team with my roommate to ensure pets are always supervised. In my home and in clients’ homes, I follow instructions closely, maintain a calm environment, and provide consistent care and attention.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes morning and evening feedings, walks or outdoor time, playtime, and lots of affection. I tailor activities to each pet’s energy level—whether that’s active walks, games, or relaxed cuddle time.
