Availability

I walk my dog Jolene 2-3 times per day for a total of about 90-120 minutes. My usual route is along the Anacostia River up to the 11th St bridge and back, sometimes shorter or longer.

I'll probably be walking your dog along with my own. If your dog is reactive around other dogs we might not be a good match.

A typical day

My dog loves to hunt and patrol the neighborhood for rats, so a typical evening walk will include a tour of the neighborhood garbage cans. Sometimes I hang out with her at the field next to the wading pool, which is an unofficial dog park. If your dog likes to play fetch I will be happy to indulge her.

Pet care experience

I've been a dad to Gwen, my 3 y/o spaniel/hound/Chihuahua mix, since she was 8 weeks old. Prior to that I was a dad to Eric, domestic shorthair cat, for 8 years. I recently added Jolene to my family, a 65 lb Weimaraner who I typically walk for 45-60 minutes in the morning and evening.
