Availability
I take care of two cats every day, ensuring they are fed, comfortable, litter changed, etc - and love to play with them nonstop! I recently lost my senior pup, but up until recently I was caring for her as well - frequent potty breaks, special meals with supplements and medication, bathing, walks a few times a week (she didn't need much, and was also mostly blind in the end). But I have sat for all kinds of dogs from babies to seniors, and have had many varied routines and schedules!

I am a very intuitive/sensitive person, in that I can easily sense when the animals around me are uncomfortable, sick, scared, and what they might need. I am always willing to be that person walking around with a giant bag of pet toys and treats and water bowls, and always have endless tummy rubs and praise ready for them!

Information Nicolle D. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know the dogs breed, age, food preferences, and what their day to day generally looks like so i know what to expect. i'd also like to know how they interact with other people and other dogs- I don't currently have my own dog that would be joining us, but just to know for the purposes of others we might encounter. Would also like to know if there are any notable health concerns, or things we should avoid doing in our time together! above all, i'd like to know what makes them happy, comfortable, and what they enjoy most :)
A typical day
Anything that they are used to doing! Play time around the house? hide and seek? snuffle mat?? Walks through the park or woods, or just around town? Whatever they like!

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Nicolle. I've been a dog lover for 32 years, and an owner for about 25. I have been a dog walker and boarder on and off over the years, with a total of about 5 years of experience. I recently lost my own sweet pup - Zoe, a 16 year old Shih Tzu, who I adopted when she was 10 years old. We bonded and had wonderful adventures through her golden years, and there won't be a day in this life where I don't miss her! I'm not ready to open my heart all over again to a new companion of my own, but I sure would love to spend some time taking care of yours! My partner and I do however have two sweet cats. One is absolutely terrified of everything, so your pup would likely not even see him - while the other one loves everything that moves, and is very sweet, playful and curious. They are both very gentle and independent, and do their own thing! They've also exclusively lived in households with dogs, including large breeds, such as a Great Dane and an Argentine Dogo - as well as my tiny Shih Tzu. They will welcome the company of any visiting pooches! I currently work full time Monday - Friday, but Tuesdays and Fridays I work from home, which makes me available for sitting/boarding on those days, and boarding or house sitting over the weekends. I am open to dog walking and drop ins as well - i've done it all many times via this app, and I love it! I have also worked in a pet store before, and am familiar with the needs of all kinds of animals. I am definitely that person who ends up spending the majority of the time at a party hanging out with the hosts dog. I love going for long walks, I love grooming and bathing dogs and helping them learn tricks. I am not a 'certified' groomer however, just a groomer in the way that all pet owners are :) I have typically been an owner of small breeds in past, but i love all dogs, big and small! Never met a breed I didn't like :) I am a very intuitive/sensitive person, in that I can easily sense when the animals around me are uncomfortable, sick, scared, and what they might need. I am always willing to be that person walking around with a giant bag of pet toys and treats and water bowls, and always have endless tummy rubs and praise ready for them! Whatever specifics you need me to know about YOUR pet, I will note them and treat your dog as if it were my own. If you need references for my compassion towards animals, i have plenty. :)
Reviews

Nicole was so patient when Willow was not happy being dropped off. Very good communication and will definitely use again

Nicolle took fantastic care of my 16 week old puppy! She assisted with house training and teaching basic commands. Nicolle made Ruby feel so happy and comfortable in her home during a transitional time for her, which means so much to me. I will definitely rebook!

Nicolle was so great and has such a nice space for dogs to roam, she clearly made belle feel comfortable and safe at her place. Her dog Zoe is a sweetheart and gets along very well with other dogs, which definitely helped belle be at ease in her home. I appreciated her sending me pictures and updates throughout and she didn’t even mind that belle had a couple accidents which was so great of her and really helped me to not worry about belle being good. I would absolutely leave belle with Nicolle again and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Nicolle!!

Nicolle is lovely. Super friendly, great listener, was able to handle our rambunctious formosan and brought us back a happy sleepy pup. I would recommend her!
