I’ve been around animals since I was a young girl, from dogs, cats, birds, ferrets to reptiles and amphibians. I even owned chickens when I lived in the country. After getting my Zoology major, and having worked at numerous clinics and with many different species including horses and exotic species, I worked at a primate center in UW Madison overseeing the behavior and enrichment program of monkeys. I also have experience with positive reinforcement training and the safe recapture and handling of wild animals. After several years I decided to pursue graduate school to become a teacher. The members of this household are 2 K9s, huskies, 2 human kids and a husband. We would love the opportunity to take care of and socialize with other pets! Update: Our huskies became parents about 2 years ago. They were all healthy and we found homes for all of them, two of them stayed in the family!

Very helpful! Even came out to my car when I was in a rush to grab my dog. Timely, great with communication, and cares well for her.
Used Nicolette for my first rover experience, she answered all my questions, gave an update on how Lola was doing with her dog shortly after we dropped her off. Put us at peace knowing Lola was in good hands while we were away for the night! Lola was pooped when we got home, highly recommend!

Nicolette is absolutely amazing!! My 9-month-old dog stayed in her house for about 11 days, and Nicolette sent me pictures of my dog frequently. She has a Husky, so my dog doesn't feel lonely during this period (they play together, eat together, sleep together). Nicolette is very professional in animal behaviors, and my dog did have a really really great time there (he even felt depressed after we took him back home). She even took my dog to visit other dogs so he got more chances to socialize (and she sent me amazing videos as well)! I really really appreciate that she had taken a great care of my dog, and I will absolutely choose her again in the future!
She took wonderful care of my cats while we were away, and she sent me several pictures of them.

Schedule
Update: Had to take a little break from visiting/boarding/taking care of other furry friends because Citlali had puppies! It was a great experience although very time consuming. Fortunately we were able to find all of them good families and she is ready to make new friends!

We have plenty of toys and extra crates if necessary. I will take care of your pet as if it were my own and will treat it the same way I would like mine to be treated if I left her with somebody else.

A typical day
I’m used to very energetic dogs that need a lot of attention, our female husky just had 6 puppies so we had a full and busy house for a while.
