A Cat Lady Who Loves Dogs
*Note*: I work full time and I will have to factor that in when considering whether I can take a job. Thanks for your understanding! I'm a cat mom and dog lover who grew up with some very excitable standard poodles, so I'm used to big, energetic dogs! I grew up feeding, playing with, and walking them; I'm also a *very* tall girl and have the upper body strength for it! I've watched older dogs and have no trouble with remembering medications and dealing with subcutaneous injections, if needed. In addition, I am more than happy to take care of fish, reptiles, or other pets and to look after plants. And of course, I love kitties and am always happy to watch your cats as well! I have two of my own, Maki and Sakaki. Because I need to prioritize them, I generally only do overnight visits if I can take them with me (they get along with dogs and with other cats!), and I may sometimes need to decline bookings so that I don't lose too much time with them.

Safety, trust & environment
I unfortunately cannot board animals in my own apartment. I am very conscious and observant when it comes to safety practices (i.e. keeping doors and windows locked), and I am usually up for a meet-and-greet so that I can get familiar with the animals and the place, and they can get familiar with me! If I am house-sitting, I consider myself to be a very clean and tidy person and do my best to leave the house in as good as possible shape when I depart.

Schedule
I work full-time, and I will have to factor that in while considering sitting requests. Thanks for understanding! I presently have a full-time job with the National Park Service; I live in Vallejo and commute to my office near Sausalito. I can check on animals or give walks before or after work, And I do have some flexibility with when I get into the office, but once I'm in Marin I cannot come back until work is finished. Currently I work on a 2-week schedule where I work Sunday through Friday the first week and then Monday through Thursday the second week.
