Loving home-from-home dog boarding in Leigh-on-Sea
Hello, I’m Nicoleta and I offer caring and reliable dog boarding in Leigh-on-Sea. While my Rover account dates from 2023, I have only recently begun offering my dog boarding services here, after many years of looking after dogs privately. I adore dogs and truly believe they are part of the family and should always be treated as such. When dogs stay with me, they enjoy a calm, safe and loving home environment with plenty of care, attention and affection. I have been caring for dogs for over 17 years. I had my own beloved dog, Miles, whom I looked after for 13 wonderful years. Sadly, he passed away almost four years ago, but since then I have continued caring for other dogs and it brings me great joy to have them in my home. My husband and I live in a bungalow, but I am the one who provides the care and supervision for the dogs staying with me. Everything is on one level, which is comfortable and safe for dogs. It is just the two of us at home, with no children. We also have a beautiful garden with new secure fencing, so dogs can safely enjoy time outside. I live close to lovely walking areas such as 2 minutes walk from Belfairs Woods and 20 min walk from Old Leigh where dogs enjoy daily walks, fresh air and exercise. I only take one or two dogs at a time (maximum two) so that each dog receives plenty of individual attention and care. Nicoleta has looked after our cockapoo Honey quite a few times and Honey throughly enjoys her stays with her. She get totally spoilt and treated and loved like she is her own dog. Nicoleta sends me lots of pictures throughout the day which is lovely and my children love to see how happy she is whilst we are away. She gets lovely walks and lot of treats and cuddles! Would highly recommend her
We have used Nikki to look after our dog while we are on holiday and couldn’t be happier. She is reliable, caring and clearly loves dogs. Nicoleta pours her heart and soul into looking after dogs. Her passion is evident in the care and affection she shows every animal in her charge - she treats each one as her own. By only taking on one or two dogs at a time, she ensures every dog gets the individual attention and comfort they need. Leaving your pet with her is nothing like a standard kennel - it's closer to a luxury retreat. The pricing is fair and absolutely worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Marnie, our gorgeous 6 year old Cocker Spaniel is looked after by Nicoleta (Nic’s Doggy Haven) whenever we are abroad, as well as any incidental occasions. She absolutely adores Nicoleta, and clearly regards Nicoleta’s home as her ‘2nd home’….Nicoleta loves Marnie as if she were her own pet, we could not be more grateful and count ourselves very fortunate to have such a loving dog-sitter for Marnie.
Nikki looks after my lovely little cockapoo Bonnie, Bonnie loves it there! It’s like a home from home, sleeps on Nikki’s bed, cuddles on the sofa and play in the garden! Nikki really does love dogs! She’s always making sure that they are comfortable and looked after. Bonnie has stayed numerous times and always looks like she’s having fun, so reassuring knowing that your best flurry friend is in great hands! ❤️🐶

Schedule
I am home most of the time, so dogs staying with me receive plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy taking them for daily walks in nearby areas such as Belfairs Woods and along the seafront. Because I only take one or two dogs at a time, I can give them plenty of care, affection and supervision. Dogs become part of the household routine and enjoy a calm, relaxed home environment.

Your dog’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I am fully insured and provide a calm, safe and caring home environment. Inside the house, dogs are treated as part of the family and are always supervised. A typical day
A typical day includes regular walks, meals on time and plenty of care and attention. Every dog is different, so I always adapt to their needs. Some dogs are more lively and enjoy longer walks and playtime, while others prefer a calmer routine and relaxing in the house or garden.
