Animals ARE my passion!
I have never lived in a house without a dog or cat. I lost my Riley last year and have found that caring for others' four legged loved ones really fills my heart more than I imagined. I have the most experience with small-medium sized dogs and cats but I love big dogs as well and am strong enough to keep control of them when needed. I am not certified as an animal trainer, though through my life, I have gained practical experience and knowledge of teaching basic commands and tricks for younger or older dogs. I frequently helped care for my mom's dog who was blind and had mobility issues. I have also cared for numerous older dogs and dogs with special needs through Rover.

I would definitely book with Nicole again! This was my first time using Rover, and I was a little nervous at first. Okay, maybe a lot nervous, haha. Drop off and pick up were a breeze. My dog got to meet some new friends and go to the dog park. Nicole was very responsive and sent great updates and pics! It was such a relief knowing he was happy and safe. He even got to sleep on the bed.

Schedule
I currently work overnights, so I will have availability for almost any time every day and most weekends. I will keep my schedule as up to date as possible.

I have just recently moved to a new house where the front yard is filled with goldenrod for the bees. It doesn't look like a typical yard so I wanted to just give that heads up! When boarding and/doing day care I like to stick to the animal's usual schedule as closely as possible. I enjoy taking dogs to a dog park and walking on the trails around there. I also live in a neighborhood that is walking friendly and there is a large back yard for running/playing in. For overnights, your dog will not be alone. Someone will always be at the house with them. At your house, I will follow the rules of the house and, again, keep the animal's routine as close to usual as possible.
A typical day
I recently moved to a home with a large back yard for running and playing. I keep many regular toys and a couple of different "enrichment toys" for the pooch who is always on the go. I love taking dogs to different hiking areas and dog parks. In your home I would walk them on known trails/ paths around your home. I enjoy getting on the dogs level and interacting with them if they are comfortable with that.
