Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I currently work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate visits throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Because my schedule is flexible, I am able to tailor my visits to your pet’s routine rather than expecting them to adapt to mine. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, multiple daily visits, playtime, medication administration, feeding, litter box care, or simply some companionship while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially when their families are traveling or working long hours. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible while providing plenty of love, attention, and individualized care. I have more than 20 years of professional pet care experience and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your companion is an energetic puppy, a senior dog, a social cat, or a shy feline who prefers a quiet presence, I will care for them with patience, kindness, and the same level of attention I would give my own pets. I take the responsibility of caring for your pet very seriously. My goal is always to care for your furry family member as if they were my own, providing dependable, attentive, and loving care while you’re away. I currently offer drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. For dogs, visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, companionship, medication administration (when needed), and plenty of attention. For cats, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, medication administration, playtime, affection (on their terms!), and whatever individualized care they may need to remain comfortable and happy in their own environment. With more than 20 years of professional pet care experience, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and preferences. I do my best to maintain their normal schedule and reduce any stress while you’re away. I also respect every home I enter. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and professionalism. Other than a happy, well-cared-for pet, you’d never know I was there.

A typical day
I love making sure pets stay happy, engaged, and comfortable while their families are away. For dogs, that may mean playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment games, potty breaks with plenty of time to sniff and explore, or simply relaxing together and soaking up some affection. For cats, it could be interactive play with their favorite toys, laser pointers, wand toys, treats, brushing, window watching, or quiet companionship for those who prefer a calmer visit. Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their personality and energy level. Whether your pet wants to play, cuddle, chat, or simply enjoy a familiar routine, I’m happy to spend quality time with them and make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away.

Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I have shared my life with and cared for pets since I was four years old and have worked professionally in pet care for more than 20 years. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs, as well as a wide variety of other animals including rodents, reptiles, llamas, goats, chickens, ducks, and pigs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, senior, or requires medication and extra attention, I am committed to providing patient, individualized care tailored to their unique needs. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. My goal is not only to keep your pets safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away, but also to give you peace of mind knowing they are receiving loving, dependable, and attentive care from an experienced professional who genuinely enjoys what she does.

I cannot say enough good things about Nicole. She is the ultimate pet care professional. Her experience with all types of pets of all ages is unmatched. She’s provided incredible, loving care for my 16 year old Tibetan Terrier since he was a puppy. Everything from training him to do tricks to helping him navigate his impaired sight from cataracts. If Harry could talk, he would ask me every day, “Mom, can I please go to Nicole’s today?” No higher praise out there!
Nicole was referred to me by a friend and neighbor about 10 years ago when I was looking for a dog walker. I hired her to walk my dog every weekday around noon, which she did consistently and reliably for about 8 years before we moved into Boston. My dog, who was always skittish and withdrawn around 'strangers', developed a deep love for and trust in Nicole - to the extent that when she drove in the driveway, he would start cooing and prancing in expectation of her visit. I subsequently began engaging Nicole to keep my dog at her house while my family and I went away on vacation. I know that my dog loved being at her house, where he was treated with love and got lots of attention, because Nicole sent me frequent pictures of him curled up on the couch or enjoying being outside in her yard. Nicole has almost become an extension of our family and I trust her completely with our dog. She is also very knowledgeable about typical pet illnesses and medical conditions, so that was an extra bonus. I learned a lot from her and value her opinion.
