In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and routines to maintain consistency for the pet, and I always respect their space and privacy. I give regular updates to the owner, and I’m prepared to handle emergencies responsibly. I keep their living areas clean, make sure they are fed and have fresh water daily and pay close attention to their health, including administering medication if required. Overall, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing them with patience, affection, and attentive care
Ratings and reviews
We had a good experience with Nicole the first time, but unfortunately not the same level of care was provided this time. It was a super short trip (a day and a half) but she didn’t send any photo updates - our usual request is a minimum of one update with photos each day (this is explicitly stated in our care note). Additionally, she entirely missed their dinner and was gone until around 10:15pm. She didn’t communicate this to us either, we only knew & asked her about it because we have a door code lock/Ring doorbell and noticed she was gone for a 7 hour stretch and got back well after their normal dinner window. Super disappointing to know that our two dogs didn’t receive the care they deserve or that we paid for. She was apologetic when asked but didn’t provide a reasonable excuse why the minimum standard wasn’t met this time. Will sadly be looking for a new rover ahead of our next trip.

Nicole was great. During the meet & greet both dogs seemed super comfortable immediately. While we were away she was super responsive and followed all care instructions. Our house was super clean when we got home also. Will absolutely ask her to stay again if our schedules match up.
Nicole provided exceptional care for our dog during our week out of town. She was our first Rover hire, and we have no complaints, just appreciation! Our dog Lucy has a lot of anxiety about new experiences and people, but she loved Nicole! We definitely will book Nicole again in the future.
Nicole has been our trusted dog/cat/house sitter for over 2 years now. Our furry family love her and so do we! She is the best!
Nicole has taken care of our cat in the past and she was great with him. I will be calling her to walk our pitty mix as well. .
