Calm and responsible animal lover
I have raised three dogs through puppyhood, adulthood, and seniorhood (a pointer/border collie mix, Weimaraner/greyhound mix, and a Westie). I have been trained in puppy obedience and clicker training and pride myself on being able to work with any dog-- from anxious, temperamental pups, to rowdy balls of energy, to silly couch potatoes-- I am here to keep your fur baby happy, healthy, and safe in your absence. In addition to my own dogs, I have had the privilege of caring for countless other friends' and neighbors' dogs and cats, and since moving to DC from California have been volunteering at the Humane Rescue Alliance shelter as a sensitivity-minded dog walker and enrichment provider as well as a cat care provider. I love all animals and am happy to help!

Depending on the dog's behavior, medical history, and location I work to minimize risks to the pet's safety and remain alert and attentive to the dog's body language as well as our surroundings, regardless of whether we are outside or inside.

Nicole was very communicative, followed instructions, and clearly made our dog feel very comfortable. I really appreciated how much she took our dog’s medical condition and needs into account. We would definitely work with Nicole anytime we’re planning a trip away!

Nicole was AMAZING! We felt so comfortable and assured that Mila was safe and getting plenty of love. Nicole sent so many excellent pics and updates, and left the house in perfect condition! Can’t wait to book again!

Nicole was awesome! She took the time to get to know Murray and his care schedule and was incredibly thorough and detail oriented. She sent lots of updates and he always seemed very happy! We’ll definitely use Nicole again!
Nicole was amazing. When she started the booking 2 of my pups had upset stomachs and she managed their recovery every step of the way. She regularly checked in and was very respectful of the house. Truly brilliant
