Information Nicole S. would like to know about your pet

We generally prefer dogs over 20 lbs and older dogs. I hope to take in dogs that are well behaved (especially on a leash) and good with kids. My daughter is 14 so I want to make sure that dogs are not aggressive. We also prefer low maintenance dogs without a lot of special needs or pages of instructions. We really do not want any anxious or high energy dogs. We have a neighbor cat that hangs both inside and outside our house so we prefer dogs that like cats

A typical day

The days that I am home we will add extra walk or pee break. If I am out of the house 1-2 days/week your dog must be comfortable being inside for 6-7 hours. We live by trees and trails which makes for a pleasant walk. I try to mix up our routes too

Pet care experience

Our yellow lab passed away in 2016. We miss having a dog, but don't miss the full time responsibilities. So we decided to board dogs-- approximately one dog per month. My husband and I both had dogs growing up as well as cats...so we really miss not having a pet in the house. We will take great care of your pup! We prefer dogs that are more mellow and no special needs. And unfortunately we do not feel comfortable with pitbull or mix of pitbull. We also prefer dogs that like cats as we have a neighbor cat that comes and goes in and out of the house.

Another great experience with Nicole! Her and her husband are so easy to deal with and flexible. They really open up there home and make Luke feel comfortable. Always hard when you have to leave your pup for a week, but Nicole makes it easy!

Amazing experience with Nicole! Luke felt welcomed and comfortable right away. Nicole was super flexible when I messed up the time, and just a pleasure to deal with. It's so great when you know you have somebody you can trust when you need to go out of town. And we have found that! Hope Nicole can sit for Luke again soon!

Nicole was so kind. Wallace came home happy and well cared for. He didn't have any adjustment from staying with Nicole to coming home. He is a senior citizen pup with special medication needs. She has senior dog experience. Contact, drop off and pick up with Nicole were easy.

Very thankful we chose Nicole to take care of our dog. She reached out with pictures and updates which we appreciated and was able to meet before our trip so we felt comfortable. We will be using her for future trips!
