I'm rarely gone for more than an hour at a time, and I’m happy to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible. Your pet’s comfort and routine are my top priority!

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their comfort is always my top priority. In my home, everything is designed with pets in mind—from the furniture they’re welcome to lounge on to the cozy spaces for quiet naps or playful moments. I’ve created a calm, welcoming environment where pets can relax, feel safe, and be themselves. I follow their routines as closely as possible and offer plenty of love, attention, and downtime. If they’re used to sleeping on the couch or snuggling in bed—I’m all for it! When I’m in a client’s home, I take care to honor your pet’s space, routine, and preferences. I maintain their usual feeding, walking, and rest schedules, and make sure they feel secure while you’re away. A typical day
That depends on your pet’s personality and favorite things! Whether it’s long sniff-filled walks, tug-of-war, belly rub marathons, or just curling up for cuddles, I tailor every visit to what makes your pet happiest. We’ll explore either your neighborhood or mine (whichever they’re more comfortable with), and if your pet has favorite toys, routines, or activities, I’ll stick to those to help them feel safe and at home. My goal is to keep things fun, low-stress, and full of love—just the way they like it.

Hi, I’m Nicole—and I haven’t met a dog (or cat!) I didn’t love. My experience with pets goes way beyond walks, belly rubs, and head scratches (though I’m great at those, too!). I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant, volunteered with local rescues, and spent years fostering—caring for high-energy puppies, senior sweethearts, and cats of all ages with very different personalities. From curious kittens to shy rescues, I understand how to meet them where they’re at and make them feel safe and loved. Recently, I lost my own dog after a long, beautiful life together. While that grief is still fresh, so is my desire to stay connected to the joy that pets bring. Caring for dogs and cats allows me to share my heart, experience, and home with animals who need love while their humans are away. One thing my clients especially appreciate? I thrive on last-minute bookings. This was Nicole’s second time looking after our Ellie, and once again she gave her incredible care from start to finish. Nicole was flexible from the very beginning, adjusting her schedule to come over earlier than we planned. Throughout the week, she kept us updated with regular messages/photos, giving us complete peace of mind. She stayed with Ellie in our home, which she also took wonderful care of, ensuring Ellie was comfortable, loved, and never alone. Partway through our trip, Ellie developed a tummy bug. Nicole kept us informed while monitoring her closely and contacting our vet to confirm what symptoms to watch for. Being away while your pup is sick is stressful, but knowing Ellie was in Nicole’s care made all the difference. Nicole is kind, dependable, proactive, and an excellent communicator. We trust her completely with both Ellie and our home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
We hired Nicole for dog walks and a house sit for our reactive dog, Beatrice. This was the first time we left Beatrice with someone else and hiring Nicole really put us at ease. It's clear that Nicole has a strong love for animals and a gentle way with them. She took the time to get to know Beatrice and her quirks. Seeing Beatrice get excited when Nicole would come over gave us the confidence that Beatrice was in good hands. Highly recommend Nicole! We'll be using her as a regular dog walker and sitter in the future.

Nicole is amazing! I’ve always hesitated with leaving Pluto for an extended amount of time but he’s always super excited to see her. She’s amazing at communicating and responds fast. As well, she helps work around my schedule and is super flexible!
