I’ll treat your dog as my own
I have had many different types of dogs in my life, such as a Pomeranian and a golden retriever. I also used to have an olde English bulldog. Our last dog was a Bassett hound/boxer mix. He crossed the rainbow bridge in November 2025. I love taking dogs for long walks in the neighborhood or around different trails. I think it’s important for dogs to get as much exercise as possible. I also would love to throw a ball or lay around and cuddle with your dog. We also have a fenced in backyard for dogs to run and get plenty of exercise. Your dog will be a part of our family when they stay with us. I am available most afternoons. I am also available Friday afternoon through Sunday. I would love to help take care of your dog while you can’t be there. Please just let me know what you and your dog’s needs are and I will help as much as you want.

Nicole was awesome with Gus. She helped out on short notice and was able to spend a little extra time with him to see if he would eventually go potty! I plan on using Nicole again in the future as I need a dog walker!!
Nicole is a responsible person who has had a dog her whole life. She grew up in a household that had an Irish Setter, then a Golden Retriever and finally a Pomeranian. Currently, Nicole has a mixed breed hound. Nicole is excellent with dogs and dogs respect her. She has worked with a professional trainer to ensure her current dog developed good habits. Nicole is a respected school teacher and works equally well with students.

Schedule
I work full time out of the house, but am gone for no more than 8 hours. Your dog can be let out right before I leave and as soon as I get home. Once I get home I can play and love on your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and your dog can run around as much as he wants. I also have two young children that love to chase and play games with your dog. Your dog can lay on the couch, sleep in our bed, or whatever is most comfortable for them.
Pets
A typical day
I wake up early to get ready for work. I can walk and feed your dog before I go to work, then again as soon as I get home. Then play fetch or take a walk in our dog friendly neighborhood.
