Hi! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with Golden Retrievers & Maltese, which sparked my lifelong passion for caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Three years ago, I adopted my own puppy, Maisy, and she has completely changed my life by teaching me responsibility, compassion, routine, and the unconditional love of our animals. I am comfortable caring for pets of any size and age. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm happy to customize the experience to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible :)

When I first met Nikki I realized what a warm and energetic person she is. Mimi, my 4 year old Maltese, absolutely loves her! She gives her lots of attention, whether playing, walking or snuggling. When she watches Mimi while we are away, she always send pictures and tells us about their day together. Mimi is happy to see us when we return, but, honestly, think she enjoys her time with Nikki maybe even more! It’s so nice to come home to a happy dog ( knowing they were safe and well cared for). I highly recommend Nikki to watch your pet.

Schedule
I recently graduated from dental school and am taking time off from May-July as I await my licensure. During this time, I'd love to spend time helping families with their pet care. After the summer, I will be available on most Fridays & weekends. Whether it's a daily walk, or boarding during your summer vacation, I'd love to help out as much as I can!

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to watch pets in my own home so that my dog, Maisy, has a playmate. Maisy attends daycare regularly and has become accustomed to playing with dogs of all different shapes & sizes - she is very friendly! However, I know this is not always the best/safest option, so I am happy to discuss alternative options that make you the most comfortable.
Pets
A typical day
I do live in an apartment, but am steps away from a fenced-in park and the Alpha Loop. I assure you that your pup will get plenty of exercise, playtime, and love! One of my favorite activities is a windows-down drive to get a pup cup (with parent's permission of course)!
