I have been dog sitting and fostering dogs for the past 15 years. I absolutely love being able to interact with and care for dogs of all ages and with varying needs. I have experience with dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, from social and stable dogs to dogs that are reactive and need extra support in situations that they are unsure of. I also have knowledge in basic training, as I have trained my own dogs and have worked with the foster dogs to get them ready for adoption. I enjoy making sure the dogs I care for are fulfilled physically and mentally (play dates with other social dogs that have a compatible play style, pack walks, trick training, jogs, fetch, etc.). Nicole took great care of my dog while we went away.Our dog is older and gets overwhelmed at typical daycare.She sent us lots of updates and pictures and it gave us great peace of mind seeing him happy and having a good time out on walks or in her fenced back yard!
Maple had the best time - fenced in back yard with plenty of room outside to run for the dogs! Sent us photos throughout the whole weekend! We will definitely be using her again.
Nicole watched our 2 mini dachshunds, Jackson and Brody, for 4 nights, and overall, we were so happy with the arrangement. We’ve never left our dogs with someone else besides family for that long, so we were of course a little nervous when looking for a sitter. After contacting and chatting with Nicole, she eased our worries and knew our dogs would be in great care. During our trip, she checked in with us daily on their progress and sent lots of photos too, which helped ease our mind even more. Our dogs received a lot of attention, exercise, and love while with Nicole. We could see from the photos they were so comfortable and happy in her care. I would highly recommend Nicole for anyone looking for a home away from home for their pups!
Nicole was excellent! She provided a number of photos and kept in touch throughout Charlie's stay. I felt Charlie was being cared for by a competent dog owner who genuinely cared for our dog's welfare. Thank you Nicole!
Nicole is extremely professional and friendly. We sought a more personal experience for our dog outside of crate boarding and she delivered. She updated us regularly about how and what our dog was doing while we were away. Our dog was very well cared for and had a blast, highly recommend Nicole!

Schedule
I am a social worker at a therapeutic elementary school. I ensure that the dogs I care for are taken on walks and have an opportunity to play in the fenced in the yard in the morning so that they are tired and naturally want to sleep while I am at work. When I get home from work, I enjoy going on more walks, playing in the yard, bringing them on car rides to various places, scheduling play dates, trick training, etc. before we eat dinner and relax afterwards.

My yard is fully fenced, providing a secure place for your dog to romp around. The fence is chain link, 6 feet tall, and reinforced on the bottom. My house is dog proof as well.
A typical day
I like to wake up early to take the dogs I am watching on a leashed walk. The length of this walk depends on the dog's activity level and needs. I am quite active so I enjoy long walks but don't necessary need to do this if it won't benefit the dog. I walk in various places - neighborhoods, trails in the woods, beaches. I also enjoy spending time in my yard so there is plenty of time for the dogs to run around in my secured fenced in yard.
