Dogs ARE family. Let me help yours

I have been a dog lover my whole life. I DO WORK FULL TIME. I AM OPEN ANY EVENING AFTER 4:30PM MON/ TUES/ WED AND FULLY AVAILABLE FROM THURSDAY EVENING UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING. PLEASE KEEP THESE TIMES IN MIND WHILE BOOKING. I will do my best to coordinate times with you and I will reply as quick as I can. I prefer daycare, boarding or drop ins. I have dog sat for friends and even did fostering through Asheville Humane Society. My dream job would be to work with K9 Therapy Services, especially those for veterans. I have been around dogs through the puppy stages, into senior care and the hardest part, watching them walk over the Rainbow Bridge. I do not have a fenced yard so your dog would go out with me on a leash or in the smaller kennel I have outside if they feel like they don’t like to potty on a lead. I do not have close neighbors as I live in a country setting. I have two different size crates if your best friend needs to be housed in one when alone or at night. Please make sure to provide your own food and any special requirements your pet may need. My girl, Ellie, loves my cat, Addison. Addison is an inside/ outside cat so you wouldn’t have to worry about your puppy or kitty around her. Addison will also run away when she sees a strange dog or human so no need to worry about her. I have experience following medication and diet orders for four-legged friends. I LIVE 9 MILES FROM MEDVET EMERGENCEY HOSPITAL and could get there quickly if ever the need arose.

Nicole took my pups on short notice and was so flexible when we showed up without enough food. Thanks for watching them!

Nicole was fantastic sitter for our six month pup. She was gracious and kind, and our boy came back tired and happy from a day spent at her place! Would recommend her to anyone!

Nicole was great with our 4 month puppy! It was the first time we left our pup with someone besides our family, and she made us feel comfortable and sent pictures of our little guy! I would definitely recommend her!

Schedule

I do have a full time job. I AM AVAILABLE FROM THURSDAY EVENINGS UNTIL SUNDAY EVENINGS. I always plan to stay home when I know I have a booking, but there is a chance if you book me last minute and I already have planned your pup may be in a crate for a couple hours.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog, 1 cat
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I care for others pets as I would my own. I like to watch them at first and let them do their own thing. Whether in my home or yours, they will show me what they want and what makes them comfortable. I can be stern when need be. Keeping them safe and happy are the 2 most important things. I can provide services for multiple animals a booking, however, I choose to only do one client at a time. For example, I can board your 3 dogs but will not dog sit another client on the same days.

Pets

A typical day

Plenty of playtime will be had. Tossing their favorite toy to fetch, checking out the park to explore new smells and socialization with my pup. I am here to exercise the energy out of them or give cuddles and belly-rubs. And I haven't forgotten the kitties. They also get play time and loving too!!

Cats

Crate-trained dogs only
Takes only 1 client at a time
Nicole can host up to 1 pet per night
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements that I need to account for. Medication, diet, behaviors, likes and dislikes etc. If your pet needs to be the sole animal I care for because of behaviors or your preference, I will need to know this ahead of time so I don't book other clients. I prefer medium to large dogs and retrievers are my favorite but I’ll take anyone I can play and cuddle with.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
