I LOVE WALKING WITH DOGS!!! It's a nature thing, it's a natural thing, & something I enjoy immensely rain, snow, or preferably sunny conditions. I do not work full-time, so my freedom is good. I have one dog walk currently scheduled daily which takes about an hour or so. I am available locally in RI or nearby Massachusetts, or my husband works in Nantucket so I can provide walks out there if needed by anyone on the Island.

I would expect to work with the client's home in whatever capacity needed for their pet(s). We can walk, keep it in the yard, relax, play ... whatever is required by the pet owner.

It is important for your pet's comfort as well as for mine & our safety together that I know as much about your pet & his/her personality as possible. i.e, Do they like brushing or hate the brush? Are treats ok? Does your pet have any known tendencies I need to be aware of so I can look out for them? Every animal is different in behavior & personality - there is no "right" or "wrong" so the better I am informed the less chance of trouble, stress, or any unpleasant issues. Always a believer in meeting first in person before commitments but if that is inconvenient for the pet owner we can deal with it.

Walk, run, stretch, walk walk walk! If owners like, we can go to our nearby park, take a ride, go to the beach, or just hang in the local hood' whether that's your back yard or nearby. Stimulation is key, knowing when to break is too! We do NOT walk when it is too hot for your pet's paws, & I prefer to stay away from other dogs so we avoid any issues unless the pet owner states otherwise. I may get to know your dog, but it's the other ones I don't know. No reason to invite a problem is my motto.

I love dogs & cats. I love walking & hanging out with animals - sometimes more than people! :) I have a very healthy respect for a dog's nature, and have owned & trained our own German Shepherd and worked with trainers in doing so. Our Jack was a big beautiful boy, & was with us until he passed at 12 years of age, 3 years ago. Not one day goes by that I do not miss him, his company, & our walks. Being a German Shepherd (125 lbs), I had to learn how to handle him, teach him, exercise him, train him, wash him, brush him endlessly, and of course, learn how to be trained by him as well. ;) Also being a typical GSD, he got into every situation imaginable - skunks, possums, eating electrical cords, moving furniture, cat chasing, bee stings, chasing garbage trucks, escaping, opening every lock possible, chasing everything, learning to leash walk, and finally, surgical procedures and cancer treatments to seniorhood. I learned to put the phone down on our walks & just be with him & absorb what he sees & hears....I still do this when dog walking with other dogs. It's really one of the best parts of any day as far as I am concerned, & it takes a special kind of quiet & attention to the dog to get the most of it. I have worked with small & medium dogs as well both as clients and in my family.

Nicole is awesome with dogs. Very friendly. My dog doesn’t trust people easy but with Nicole it was love at first sight. I would highly recommend Nicole.
Nicole has been great! She gets along great with our dog who can be skeptical of strangers, and they are now buddies. She's great at communicating also-- we're glad we found her!
We have found THE dog whisperer in Nicole. From our initial meet and greet it was very apparent Nicole has a lot of dog experience, she handled our quirky dog with such patience and kindness and now they’re the best of friends! We are so thankful for her and feel so happy knowing our girl is cared for so well!
We can elaborate ad infinitum about how perfect a dogwalker that Nicole will be. High energy, dependable, etc. but the biggest reason she’d be a great dogwalker is her love of animals. Cats, dogs whatever, she loves them. They will be in great hands. She longs for the contact of animals.
