I’m currently a part time student and work from home about 75% of the time. I am well conditioned for several daily walks around the neighborhood. Additionally, my apartment offers a great dog park if your pup prefers to run around offleash and socialize.

I’ve fostered dogs, rescued dogs, and volunteered at my local humane society. I have worked with a wide variety of dogs and thoroughly enjoy creating an environment where dogs feel comfortable. In my house, pets are part of the family! The couch and the bed are a free for all. My apartment and belongings are no stranger to pet hair. However, rest assured that your rules will always be the guideline I follow. Having adopted an adult rescue dog, I understand how important consistency is to success. *For the safety of your dog and others, I do not walk dogs off-leash. However, I am happy to take them to a fully fenced park where they can run off-leash. I know some pet owners enjoy off-leash walks, but this is not a service I offer.

A typical day
I love long walks just as much as your dog. I’m happy to provide a good amount of exercise for your pup. When we’re at home, you can count on some interactive games to keep your pup mentally stimulated. If your dog is social, we will definitely pop in the dog park and hang out for bit. If not, we can find some secluded areas to explore. If your dog moves at a slower pace, I’m happy to offer company and cuddles on the couch.

Pet care experience
Growing up in a rural area, we always had large dogs as part of our family. Nearly all of our family dogs were rescues, so I have experience working with a variety of behaviors. Throughout college, I volunteered at my local human society where I was a dog walker for a few years. After I moved to Philly, I fostered a dog and knew I was ready for adoption. A few months later, I adopted my dog Leo as an adult/senior from a local rescue. He was a challenge to train, but he gave me an immense amount of patience for dealing with any and all doggy temperaments. I absolutely love dogs and am happy to work with a variety of behaviors and temperaments. Sadly, I lost my dog to cancer and I am looking for opportunities to help other pups and pay it forward.

Nicole was amazing. This is the longest i have ever left Callie for. Right from the start Nicole was easy to connect with to arrange, she asked all the right questions and gave me strong reassurance. During the drop off process she was ready and waiting to receive Callie and did so with open arms. During my entire vacation Nicole kept me updated with status and pics and i could see Callie was being well loved and cared for. Upon my return Callie was alert and bright and obviously very comfortable with the care she had been given. I would highly recommend Nicole whether it be short or long term stays and i will 100% be using her services again.
Nicole and her boyfriend took great care of Mulligan while we were away for a long weekend! She kept us updated with lots of photos which we greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
Nicole took very good care of my golden retriever and made me feel at ease with many updates and photos while he was with her!! He came home tired out and happy. I would highly recommend her services!
