DPT/Animal Enthusiast

I am a physical therapist who has a passion for working with people, however, I interact with people quite often. SO, what I really enjoy is making the time to cuddle or walk with furry friends any chance I can get. As a former doctoral student, I have learned how to manage time well, organize and prioritize. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. I take all safety precautions to ensure gates are closed when necessary, human food is placed far out of reach, and all doors are shut that lead to tempting, tasty objects such as shoes and remotes. My experience with a variety of breeds and sizes makes me stand out, as well as my ability to handle high energy dogs who may appear confrontational at first. If you choose me to watch your fur babies, there is no doubt that they will be in good hands with someone who is dedicated to ensuring they are comfortable, happy and well taken care off.

Safety, trust & environment

At my house I have to flexibility to take the dogs out as needed, I have a dog currently who is friendly with others. In my clients’ homes, I respect the client’s instructions and can perform any task they need! I respect the home and privacy as I have also had Rover sitters in my home and would want someone trustworthy.

Nicole took great care of Duke! She made me feel super comfortable with him in her care. She stayed almost all day with him and spent the night to keep him happy. She even took him to the park! Would highly recommend.

Nicole is great with dogs! I have 2 very high energy and needy dogs and Nicole gives them all the attention I would hope them to get when I’m not around. She is also very trustworthy and responsible which is reassuring when dealing with having people in your home/caring for your family members. She comes highly recommended!

Schedule

I have a very flexible schedule, I am in between jobs at the moment, so as long as I have enough notice, I am willing to make anything work!

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Nicole can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
I do not have any breed preferences. Prior to sitting a dog I would like to know the feeding/bathroom schedule, if there are any health issues, if the dog is confrontational at first, protective of food or toys, and if the dog is high/low energy. I would also like to know areas of the house the dog can and can't be in, and if the dog is crate trained. Last, does the dog have to be fenced in, or can the dog be let out without any containment.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
