I am an experienced professional in animal care services. I worked at a multi-site doggy daycare in the Boston area before starting out on my own caring for dogs and cats. I have always had dogs and cats as pets. I currently have a beautiful Blue-tick/Lab mix named Bubba. I was born into a family of animal lovers and a home with multiple pets. I enjoy all animals, and love working with them as my profession. I am comfortable around all breeds and sizes. I also love cats and kittens and am happy to work with them too! I have experience with dietary issues and animals with health issues. I am comfortable administer medicine to your animal if needed for their care. She takes excellent care of our two cats, provides detailed photos and write ups, and cares for the house in unexpected ways on top of everything else. Nicole is our favorite cat sitter! We've had her look after our cats multiple times before and she continues to exceed expectations each time. For this stay, we had her look after our pets for two weeks while we were away in India. In addition to providing excellent care to our pets (very clearly evident in the photos and write up she provides each visit), she went above and beyond providing exceptional care to our house. While we were away, a major snow storm came through the area - she proactively brought snowblower to clear our walkways and unbury my car (in addition to tending to our mail, moving out our garbage, tidying the house, etc.). We came back to two happy pets and a clean house, which was incredible after a long flight back. We could not recommend Nicole more - if you book her you will be in excellent hands!

This was our second time booking with Nicole and she is the absolute best! She provides a very detailed update & plenty of photos as part of each visits' report card update - and you can tell from the way she writes / photographs that she genuinely loves getting to know your pets. Not only does she provide excellent pet care, she went out of her way to provide for our house, and even left a parting gift for us. Her care made it easy for us to focus on our vacation and we came back to healthy, happy pets & a clean home. Thank you, Nicole!!
Could not be more thrilled with the care and attention Nicole provided for our two cats during a week away! Her updates were thorough and covered everything about her visits from top to tail, and her plentiful pictures told an even fuller story of two cats living such good lives that they barely missed us. Even our cranky old man fell for her and eventually let her pill him. Communication with us was super professional and friendly - Nicole is not just great with animals, she's great all-around!

I have a fenced in yard with a 6 ft. tall fence. I have one older medium sized dog that is always happy to have doggy friends over to visit.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks that have many diffrent types of smells to stimulate their senses. At the owner’s request I like to bring dogs to trails in their area to enjoy nature and get away from busy areas that can cause stress or over-stimulate some dogs. I have worked with many reactive dogs, so I am always cautious about keeping space between animals while out on walks, and enjoy helping dogs learn to walk on leash if they are having difficulty. Please let me know if you would be interested in having your dog learn to leash-walk better, or want your dog to do some trail walking.
