Compassionate Dog and Cat Sitter
For the past 15 years, I have worked as a pet sitter for dogs of all ages and sizes, cats of all ages, and other animals such as snakes, hamsters, and fish. I always ensure to walk, feed, play, cuddle, administer medications, and complete any other tasks to ensure the health and comfort of all the animals under my care. I grew up with dogs and cats and absolutely love having animals around, and pet sitting provides me with a much needed animal fix!

I always ensure to note all of the guidelines set forth by clients so that everyone (including pets) are safe and happy. I do this by ensuring I provide a warm and welcoming presence and allow pets to come to me when they feel comfortable and secure.
Ratings and reviews
This was my first time having Nicole as my pet-sitter/house-sitter for my two cats, and she went above and beyond! She checked in several times before my departure date to confirm the care instructions and was very communicative with photos and updates while I was away. My apartment had an AC malfunction that occurred during the stay in the midst of a heat wave, and Nicole updated me frequently to let me know the cats were doing ok and being kept cool indoors. She even went out of her way to speak with the maintenance person I had sent to inspect the unit, and sent me detailed information on their assessment and the estimate for the repairs! This was the longest and farthest I’ve been away from home in a while, and the first time I’ve had a house-sitter for my cats, and Nicole’s friendliness and flexibility put me at ease. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again for my future pet-care needs!

Schedule
I’ll be back in San Jose, CA for the months of July and August, and will only be out of the house to go to workout classes and to teach private swim lessons for 4-5 hours a day (usually with breaks in between). I love hanging out with animals and can easily incorporate them into my routine! I love having an animal around to keep me company and find them so grounding and healing. I grew up with having animals around me, and since I don’t have a furry friend currently pet sitting allows me to get my much needed animal touch. I also usually go on walks daily and would love to have a furry companion come along with me.
