I would love to take your pup for overnights or even just for a few hours while you enjoy Glenwood Springs or the Roaring Fork Valley! I work from home and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with 2,000 acres of land and trails out my front door. My 2 yr old retriever mix Eli is super dog-friendly and submissive, and he loves having a doggie friend to play with. Eli is also chill in the house if your dog just likes to relax. I go for plenty of walks around my neighborhood throughout the day. We have toys and bones to keep your dog entertained or they can relax in the sun on the deck, and I can always keep an eye on them. My daily work schedule is flexible, and I am very active throughout the week. Your dog will not be left alone for more than a few hours, if at all. I love taking doggies for hikes, bike rides, skiing or any other activities they would enjoy! Of course, I would never push your dog beyond their abilities. I am happy to go for easy walks or just hang around the house if your pup just wants to take it easy. I am very dog savvy and have cared for dogs and puppies of all personalities for Rover, rescue groups and animal shelters. I have plenty of experience with food aggressive, reactive, shy dogs, etc. I can easily separate your dog in my home if they like eating alone. I am comfortable walking reactive dogs in my neighborhood or on less frequented trails in the valley. I have no problem telling other dog owners to keep their dogs at a distance if I need to. Your dog will be in great hands here and have so much fun, so you can enjoy your time away from your furbaby without worry!
