Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm new to Rover but I've helped care for animals for many years. I've worked for a dog walking company and it was one of the best jobs I've had in my life. Being out, exploring, and getting exercise was fun for both me and the dogs on my route. I'd give reports and take photos of all our outings. From there, I worked at an animal hospital assisting vet techs and doctors by walking, feeding and holding the animals for their treatments. I learned so much, especially about having patience and compassion for animals that are sick and scared. I gained a lot of knowledge about safe animal handling and body language. I've also completed Fear Free training! I have adopted a pretty quirky Beagle/Boston terrier mix about 10 yrs ago and he's kept me busy ever since. He's very smart and active. A lot of understanding and keeping him busy have helped him come such a long way. It's been so rewarding to see!

I would care for your pet as you request. Whether it be a neighborhood walk, a fenced in yard, or a path nearby, I look forward to doing what your pet enjoys! I always have safety in mind, so your pet would always be under supervision and leashed in my care.

Nicole has been amazing with my high energy pup. She is so good with correcting behaviors and I trust her 100%! I know he looks forward to their walks and love that he is in such good hands
Nicole is great! When my dog is stubborn and doesn’t want to walk, she hangs out with him and plays with him so he’s still burning off some energy.
Nikki is wonderful with pets! I have seen firsthand how kind and patient she is with them and she truly enjoys getting to know each individual animal. She is great with different temperaments and personalities. She has a great way with animals!
Nikki is the quintessential "animal person". I've seen firsthand the patience and understanding she has with nervous and behaviorally complicated dogs, and it is truly remarkable. She clearly finds so much joy in connecting with our four-legged friends. She has a gentle and creative approach to bonding with animals, and it shows in how quickly they warm up to and trust her. My shy cats had a strong sense of stranger-danger, but they were big fans of Nikki almost immediately! I would absolutely trust her to apply great respect and integrity toward caring for any animal.
I have a… difficult dog. He’s perfect and I love him but he’s not your average simple dog. Bronson adores Nikki! She took a moment to understand that he’s nervous and figured out what she could do to make him more comfortable with her. She worked with him and gained his trust and now she has it for life- he really does love her. I will always trust Nikki with animals because I’ve seen her take the time and I can see how much she cares. ❤️

Are you looking to get your pets out and about while you're at work? I'm available weekdays from the morning until early evening. I'm available for a Saturday morning stroll as well!
