Had a last minute emergency trip come up and ended up finding Nicole to watch over our Goldendoodle for 6 days — the experience was not pleasant. Within the first 24 hours after drop off, Nicole reached out to me requesting I’d alter the booking for an early pick up because “Luna was crying”, before booking I let Nicole know that Luna is a puppy and currently house training, she absolutely loves other dogs and children. I called Nicole to figure out what the problem was only to find out the reason she no longer wanted to watch our puppy was because her dog was not getting along with her. I explained to Nicole yet again that I was out of the country and my husband works 12 hours shifts and to let me know if she was able to keep her there for the day until figured out a solution while out of the country— within 1 hour Nicole messaged me to tell me “never mind, they are doing fine now haha lol”. It seemed like Nicole did not introduce the dogs properly and therefore there were issues. Luna did end up staying with Nicole for the duration originally booked and Nicole made sure to update me with pictures daily for my peace of mind. Luna seemed taken care of at pick-up and was happy to go home. Overall the experience was ok but I wouldn’t be using Nicole again for anything longer than 24 hours. I do NOT find her reliable for longer stays and would kindly advise that she properly introduces her dog to other dogs to avoid these issues and ensure a worry-free situation for the owners for the services they are paying for.
