Hi! Thanks for considering me as your pet sitter :) First of all, I always send lots of pet pics especially with new clients, I am not sure why my profile says otherwise! It is very important to me to communicate openly to make sure the families I work for feel comfortable and secure, so that they can focus on having fun, doing work or whatever their trip entails. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over fifteen years. Almost all of my clients have not been through Rover, so if you would like to speak with or hear from additional references, please let me know. I know that trusting someone with your pets and in your home is a big deal! I have worked as a nanny for the last ten years, so I am familiar with working in peoples homes. I am currently taking a full time web design program (on-line) so I have a flexible schedule and am looking for work to make ends meet while I am taking classes. I am happy to do drop ins, walks and house sitting - especially on the west side and downtown but am open to anywhere in Oly/Lacey/Tumwater. I have cared for dozens of pets with many different needs. I have cared for pets that are older, need medication, are dealing with various physical and emotional difficulties. I have worked with pets that need a ton of attention as well as pets that want to be left alone and given their space. I am flexible and open to the specific needs of your pets, so please do let me know what makes them comfortable and healthy. I provide in-home pet sitting, and have done this for over 20 different families. I have also worked as a nanny for over 10 years, so I spend a lot of time in other people's homes! And I know how to provide quality care while respecting your privacy. I am okay with cameras, just please let me know if they are there :) I love all breeds of dogs. I have a Pitbull of my own who is an awesome 4 year old cuddle bug. I have learned so much from my relationship with him and he brings me so much joy. My partner will take care of him while I am pet sitting, so he will not come with me.

Coco was great! She was super communicative and clearly cares deeply about dogs. We felt very confident leaving our dog in her care. Will definitely ask her to sit again!
Nicole was great! She was very friendly and communicative, and did a wonderful job of taking care of our animals while we were out of town. You can tell that she really cares for animals and has experience doing so. Would recommend! Thanks Nicole!!!
Nicole is amazing! She is very fun and took care of my two wheaten terriers (which can be a lot to deal with at times) while I was away for a weekend. Not only did she walk them 3 times a day, but also spent time playing with them outside in the backyard. My dogs really do love her because every time Nicole comes back to visit they immediately run to her to give her hugs and kisses. Nicole has a very natural, loving way with animals and I would recommend her above many to take care and walk your pet/s.

I am currently able to provide care in your home only, as I am living in an apartment. I have a lot of experience providing care for families in their homes. I have provided in home pet care for dozens of families - I have been pet sitting for 15 years. I have also worked as a nanny and babysitter for dozens of families. I am professional, clean and communicative about issues that could arise at the house (although I have never really had issues with pet sitting, Thankfully. But I will still be in contact as often as you like - can send pictures and updates.) I am energetic and nurturing, with an attention to detail but a calm demeanor when interacting with pets. I usually walk 5-10 miles a day, and don’t mind walking more, so I am happy to provide long and/or frequent walks. I also love to hang out on the couch with pets that are less in to walking. I am flexible! I know how hard it can be for some pets when their people leave - my dog can hardly handle himself when my bf and I both go to the store together haha. So I am happy to give your pet extra attention if it seems like they want it! I try to listen to what they are telling me and have read a lot about dog and cat body language. My partner will take care of our dog when I am pet sitting - he will not be joining me so don’t worry! :)

I love all breeds! Please let me know what your pets specific needs are and what approaches you find work best for you. I know that all pets are unique - some requiring very specific care, some need constant attention, some are more flexible and some are totally independent. As a pet parent of a very needy dog, who is basically a toddler, and having worked with dozens of different pets, I am understanding of all pet needs!
A typical day
My neighborhood is very walkable, with several parks and many shops in the area. There are a few cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating that people bring calm dogs to. More energetic dogs will enjoy running around the neighborhood or in the various dog friendly parks in the area.

I create my own schedule. I am happy to plan around your needs. I am available weekdays, weekends, early mornings, late nights - any time at this point, with advanced notice. I am hoping to fill up some of my schedule with dog walking jobs. :)
