🌟 Important: WHEN BOOKING; I have DROP-IN visits only for SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS; for single 30mins, 1-3hr blocked times, or a maximum of 3 separate 30min-1hr visits spread through the day. I have DAILY WALKS only for a one time visit in a singular day only on WEEKDAYS (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For a FULL DAY DROP-IN visit in one continuous time block with a maximum of 5 hours, again I will only accept ones booked on a SATURDAY or SUNDAY. I am starting to reserve FRIDAYS for a 5 HOUR MAX group DAYCARE DAY for dogs who work well in leashed groups (3 spots available), in which I will do pick-up and drop off at your home as I will only use my home for lunch breaks indoors. To give your pet the best experience, I will give long term clients preference and will accept overnight stays based around daily walks and weekend drop-ins 🌟 Although some dogs are able to be alone for longer hours, for the safety of the pets I watch, I will not leave time frames of longer than 6 hours between having someone in the home if I have active responsibilities during my time with your pet. I am more than happy to work around my personal schedule to make sure your pets are happy and healthy! For example, if I have walks/drop-ins with time blocks inbetween, I will come back to take care of your pet before going back out, or (with permission) I will take them along with me. KEEP IN MIND, I will still have the morning with your pet as I don't start my daily services until 11am.

Safety, trust & environment

Maintaining a clean environment is important as well as providing a crate if needed (if they are normally crated at any point) to keep with individual routines. I'm not currently running boarding services in my home yet until I settle plans on moving. In a client's home, knowing your pets normal routine is extremely important in order to keep them happy and healthy. Providing any extra information on how you operate your own home for your pet (are they allowed on furniture etc.) will be the first step.

Information Nicole M. would like to know about your pet

Again let me know of any behaviors to watch for, as well as allergies and medications that might not already be on Rover, beforehand, so the visit is set up for success. I am more than willing to work around your pets individual needs.

A typical day

I am able to provide your pet with the same routine they are used to, whether it is structured or not. When I am home with your pet, throughout the day i'll take them for washroom breaks every 2-3 hours, and/or if the weather plays nice, i'll take them to a trail or park for some more mental and physical stimulation. I will also throw in some EXTRAS at the end of each boarding stay, such as a POLAROID PICTURE of your pet!

Pet care experience

I have 7 years animal handling experience, developing my animal husbandry skills and knowledge full time in a busy and demanding environment. Before this, I had spent most of my childhood and preteen years taking care of the horses I rode as a well loved hobby. I received my certificate for Animal Care and am currently starting a program to become a Veterinary Technician. I care deeply for the health and happiness of all animals and want to continue using my skills in more aspects of animal care. I am able to care for cats and dogs; as well as smaller species pets, such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds.

Nicole was amazing. I messed up and forgot to book until week of and she was able to accommodate us. She sent pictures and all our pets seem to like her which is always a huge bonus. Will definitely use her again

We hired Nicole to house sit our senior dog and two cats for 17 days. While our home was left spotless, it became clear that she spent very little time there during the stay. Our senior dog was left alone for long stretches during the day, sometimes over eight hours, even though Nicole’s profile stated she wouldn’t leave pets for more than five hours. We had also made it clear that our dog needs to be let out every four hours. It was also evident that she didn’t stay overnight for most of the booking, which was especially upsetting since our dog has never been left alone overnight before. When I reached out with my concerns, Nicole said she had been “really busy” and assured me the pets were “fine.” She did apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately the level of care just didn’t meet what was discussed or expected.

We hired Nicole to pet sit with our cat Smokey while we were away for two weeks. We are very happy with the care and attention Nicole provided for Smokey. She provided regular updates and photos which were much appreciated. She obviously loves cats and gave Smokey lots of playtime and affection. We will certainly hire Nicole again in future.

Yet again Nicole does it again. Treated my dog like a king and allowed me to enjoy yet another trip without any worries. She is the best
