Pet care experience

Fun company, always on time!

Full-time aunt to Kobe, a silky terrier 6 year-old sassy, well trained boy, with a strong personality. Part-time aunt to all of my friend's animals, cats/dogs, of all shapes and sizes. Super observant of animal behavior in order to understand animals needs. Highly prioritize communicating with owners about their animals, to learn and adapt to animals/owners needs. I enjoy active days, especially with a cool dog to run around or play ball with. I'm also just as good at lounging around as your cat is, if it needs someone to fluff around with, I'm that person too. I can hold down my own, when it comes to extra large sized animals or even the fiercest of them all- the tiny animals. Besides creating a fun environment for your animals, I'm also creating a positive active environment for myself. Nothing makes me happier than cool animals, they are great company.

Safety, trust & environment

I am quite clean when it comes to animals, so wiping of the paws after entering from the outdoors is on a list of to-do's for me. They do after all, sleep in our beds and walk on our couches. I also do not like ingredients like wheat and filler, so I always make sure to have any/all treats or foods with ingredients that will elongate the life rather than cut it short. I do not actually have the space to board at this time, but I am more than accommodating to keeping animals in their home space to make sure they are in their most comfortable mental state, while their parent/parents are away.

If you are looking for someone to 100% trust with your fur babies, Nicole is by far the BEST! We will never use anyone else. We have 3 dogs all different personalties & sizes, a little yorkie, husky, and shepherd mix. Nicole came and handled each like she’s been with them from day 1, all 3 of my dogs adore Nicole. She cares for them like her own. I always know when she’s watching them they will be fed, walked and loved like no other it’s so comforting finding that. I would 100% recommend Nicole to anyone looking for pet care.

Nicole is great! She wanted to get to know Brody and his personality before having to watch him for the weekend. She makes sure to stick to his schedule and is very patient with him! Plus Brody loves her!! Would definitely recommend!!

We needed a dog sitter for a total of 5 days. This was our first time leaving our dog with a stranger. Nicole took the time to meet up with us a couple of weeks before we left for our trip just to get a feel for our dog, vice versa, and of course they got along very quickly. We can tell right away how comfortable Rosco felt with her and put us at ease knowing he will be well taken care of. I appreciated the daily updates and the overall notes of the ventures partaken between her and Rosco. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again in the future.

I have to say- Nicole is amazing. We have met twice just to go over things before my trip to MX. She is punctual, responsive, accommodating, trustworthy, respectful, friendly, polite, always smiling. I have a 12.5 year old Pekingese w special needs- dietary, medication and his hind legs don’t work so great. He uses a Gingerlead, a stroller and a wheel chair while he eats. There’s a lot to take in for his care. Routine is pretty easy once you get the hang of it all 😉Nicole took notes, asked questions and she was 100% into it. Once my plane landed, I received a text from my neighbor asking if my pet sitter was taking care of my baby. She told me Nicole was doing a great job. From this point i knew I can relax and enjoy my trip. Nicole checks in, responds quickly, keeps a clean house. My baby was in great company. He kissed snd licked her upon meeting her- great sign. I had a “Welcome Note” with the latest update waiting for me. I booked her again for August and we used her service just yesterday when we went to the beach for the day. She’s a life savior. Your baby will be in excellent care!!!

Nicole is amazing with animals. I met her through the recommendation of friends and she has baby-sat my mom's dog about five or six times. Which is a feat in itself. My mom's dog, Siopao, is so fickle with new people and can be a bit moody and dramatic at times. She took to Nicole so easily, it was like she was a part of the family. She has baby-sat our free roaming rabbit, Buster, several times as well. She treats and loves our furry family like they're her own. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicole to babysit/walk anyone's dog. She is an extremely caring and considerate animal lover. 10/10.

I am a fan of walks as it is, so to have an animal join me in my outdoor adventures sounds like the perfect day to me. I am currently in a space where I am working from home, so it's been nice to have the company from all the animals as well as a reason to get up from my desk during the daily walks.

I like to be educated about commands and any enforcement training, languages you may use (I've trained dogs that are given commands in different languages, so to make sure they stay sharp and keep on command while their parents are away -- I feel like it's a must to educate me so I can take notes and upkeep the training/commands.) Any medications, and ways of treatment, I learn visually, so I like watching the interaction happen so I can perform it the same way. I like knowing about any triggering moments, either with other animals, loud machinery/cars/sounds, etc. so I can also prepare myself for those moments. Dietary restrictions and any allergies, so I can keep an eye on things if there are irritants that need to be watched.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
