My name is Nicole, and I was previously a volunteer puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation. I work from home so have plenty of time to give your fur babies! I was with GDF for over 3 years and I’ve helped with the raising and training of puppies as young as 8 weeks old, that go on to become guide and service dogs. I’ve raised two puppies of my own, both ended up becoming a pet instead due to health concerns, but are amazing nonetheless! I have tons of experience with dogs and puppies of all shapes and sizes, and I simply have a passion for dogs! I have two dogs, Molly and Davis. Molly, who is a Chihuahua-Yorkie mix and loves to watch tv and sun bathe in her free time. She’s good with other dogs and loves to do anything I’m doing. Davis is happy guide dog dropout and is living a luxurious pet life. He loves everyone and everything, especially other dogs and his tennis ball. We also have an energetic young cat named Geordi who is good with cats and dogs! Feel free to ask me any questions!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority! Especially when it comes to animals interacting with each other. If there’s any body language or signs indicating something bad could happen, animals are separated and their safety is ensured. I do not allow dogs to run off leash unless the area we’re in is fully fenced in. I also have basic dog first aid experience and can administer oral and topical medications as necessary. My yard is fenced, but we do not allow dogs outside without some kind of supervision. If your dog is an escape artist, please let me know.

Schedule
I work 9-5:30 from home, and take breaks every couple of hours. So that’s usually when it’s time for a potty break for the pups as well.
