About Us 💍 We’re Nicole and Chris, an engaged couple and lifelong animal lovers. We both grew up surrounded by pets. We are very experienced and comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether you need one-time pet care or someone you can count on regularly, we’d love to help! If you'd like, we can arrange a meet & greet beforehand, and you're welcome to take a look at our home/yard. About Our Dog 🐺 We have a German Shepherd named Nala who loves having other dogs around and is always excited to make new friends. She’s friendly, playful, and enjoys being around other dogs, cats, and kids.

Nicole is a ray of sunshine for our dog Chester. He just lights up when he sees her and same goes for Nicole. They brighten each others day and that is why I have no problem leaving Chester with her. Our dog is a bit fussy when it comes to food. He likes it when we wet his food a bit (not a dental thing) and Nicole was happy to do this specific dietary instruction for our fur-baby. He's also not the best walker as he acts like a hound dog and tries to sniff out the neighbourhood, but Nicole does a great job handling him and keeping him safe on walks. She also goes on hikes with him which is his favourite thing to do. Thank you very much for taking care of Chester whenever we needed.

Schedule
We both work from home - Nicole one day a week and Chris the other four days - so someone is always home with your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a very spacious, fully-fenced yard located in Rutland where your dog(s) can safely roam free and play. Our home is VERY pet-friendly, and dogs/cats are welcome to go wherever they please. We have a dog door that allows dogs to go in/out of the house, along with plenty of cozy spots to relax. We also have a large crate available if needed. We’re happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate different preferences for walking, sleeping, feeding, and play.

A typical day
We take our dog on three walks a day (sometimes a park visit), lots of backyard time + play. Our dog is a working-line, so we do lots of mental stimulation exercises throughout the day to keep her engaged. Happy to do the same with your dog(s)!
