Pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. I currently run my nonprofit dog rescue part time, which keeps me connected to animals while still leaving plenty of flexibility in my schedule. Because I’m looking for part-time work to supplement my income, I have the time and availability to dedicate to your pets—whether that’s regular walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I’m used to managing multiple responsibilities and staying organized, so you can feel confident that your pet’s needs will be met consistently and reliably. Safety and trust are always my first priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines closely—mealtimes, walks, medications, and training cues—so your dog feels secure and comfortable. I keep communication open with regular updates and photos, so you know exactly how your pet is doing. In my own home, animals are welcomed into a calm, pet-friendly environment where they’re treated like family. I have a dedicated boarding space with its own entrance that is heated, air-conditioned, and monitored by camera to ensure comfort and safety around the clock. Plus, dogs can enjoy my fully fenced 2-acre yard, giving them plenty of safe space to run, play, and explore. Whether it’s quiet rest for seniors, room to play for puppies, or special accommodations for dogs with medical or mobility challenges, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know a few key details so I can give them the best experience possible. Please share their feeding schedule, any medical needs or medications, and whether they need special accommodations (like mobility support, potty routines, or extra quiet time). I can only board dogs in my home that are up to date on vaccines and I do require proof of this before boarding. It’s also helpful to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, or if they prefer solo play. And finally, please let me know about any behavior quirks—such as food guarding, resource guarding, or anxiety triggers—so I can make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and supported while in my care.
A typical day
A day here is all about tail wags and happy hearts! Dogs get to run, sniff, and play in my two-acre fenced yard—fetch, tug, and zoomies are all part of the fun. If an owner is comfortable and the dogs have good matching energies, I’ll also set up safe group play so pups can enjoy some social time together. Puppies get plenty of play mixed with short training moments, while seniors and special-needs pups can soak up sunshine, gentle enrichment, or extra cuddle breaks. No matter their age or energy level, every dog gets the right balance of activity, rest, and love to make them feel right at home.

I’ve spent more than a decade immersed in animal care, from fostering to managing the day-to-day of my own nonprofit dog rescue. In that role I’ve worked with dogs of every size, breed, and temperament—including seniors, medical-needs pups, and those with unique challenges like mobility or sensory impairments. Whether it’s administering medication, monitoring post-surgical recoveries, or helping shy dogs build confidence, I bring patience, skill, and genuine love to every interaction. Alongside this experience, I’ve raised and trained countless puppies, so I know the ups and downs of housebreaking, crate training, and channeling all that puppy energy into positive habits. You could not ask for a better dog sitter or walker than Nicole. She cares for all of my dogs when I need extra help, and 2 of my dogs need special care. One dog has neurological issues and Nicole is patient and loving with him, getting him to trust her as much as he does me. She is well organized, timely and patient and her love of pets shows no measure. She always keeps my dogs safe, healthy and feeling loved and I could not ask for more!
