From a young age, I’ve always loved animals. I had a cat and dog(s) growing up and also raised all kinds of animals in 4-H (lambs, pigs, chickens, etc). I’ve really learned how to be a responsible, thoughtful caretaker for animals of all kinds. I know how important pets can become to a family. I’ve always treated my animals just as though they were another human family member. For example, when changing out my animal’s water dish, I always asked myself “would I drink out of this?” If the answer was no, that meant it was time to get some soap and do some scrubbing. If given the opportunity to work with your furry friend, I would practice this same, articulate care for your beloved family member.
