Welcome to Nik Nak Pet Care! I'm Nicole — the heart behind Nik Nak Pet Care and a lifelong animal lover with over six years of veterinary experience. I’ve had the joy of caring for five amazing dogs of my own, and since 2022, I’ve been providing full-time, personalized pet care built on trust, compassion, and medical expertise. My journey with animals began at an early age. Like many animal lovers, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. That dream led me to work at a busy emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, where I started as a receptionist at 22. It didn’t take long before I completed veterinary assistant training and began supporting both the front desk and medical teams. Through this hands-on experience, I developed key skills such as: taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration), placing IV catheters, administering oral and injectable medications and assisting with CPR and emergency care. As I advanced to Client Service Supervisor, I worked directly with pet parents to ensure their fur babies received exceptional care. Many of those same families eventually trusted me with their pets at home. With my strong foundation in veterinary care and deep love for animals, I bring peace of mind to every client and gentle, knowledgeable care to every pet. Whether your furry friend needs a walk, specialized attention, or a companion while you’re away, you can count on me to treat your babies as if they were my own. Thank you! 😊 **Services are provided Mon-Sun between 7:30am-8:00pm** **Standard mileage rate of $0.70/mile applied to bookings over a 10 mile radius and any transport** **Additional rates may apply to any overnight pet sitting that requires constant care i.e. a stay where the fur baby/babies are to be left alone for no more than 2-4 hours at a time** **A meet and greet is required before booking services with Nik Nak Pet Care** **Nik Nak Pet Care is fully insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. Documentation provided upon request**

When caring for your fur babies, I make sure they have enough water and all their essentials! I assure they are let out to potty or walked on the schedule provided. Your sweet fur babies will have a clean and comfortable environment while in my care.

Nicole's been walking our Labradoodle for years! She's the best!
Nicole did a wonderful job with our anxious dog, Reggie, who usually takes a long time to warm up to new people. She took her time over a couple of visits to get to know him and understand his routine. During the house sitting, Nicole sent lots of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated. It was clear that Reggie was well loved while we were away.

Nicole understands dogs and people. She is the absolute best for our shih tzu charlie who is very selective of people. She watched charlie on our wedding day and I’ve never been so relaxed about leaving him with company. She is a great communicator and just an overall incredible person. She takes the time to know your pet and their quirks. We really hope to continue using her services in the future!
Nicole was great with Astrid. Took her on a walk and played with her while I was away at work. She sent me several photos of my baby while she was there. Astrid was much calmer when I got home than when she wasn't walked during the day. Much appreciated.
I am not one to leave my dog with just anyone and the second I met Nicole I knew I could trust her with Murphy! She understands that pets are a member of our family and treats them with the same care we do! My dog is extremely stubborn so finding someone who can handle that on walks was a plus. I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone!
