Pup adventures while you adventure!
Welcome to my loving, lively, dog-centered home! Whether you’re a local headed out of town or a visitor to one of our area’s National Parks from LA or the Bay….Drop your dogs with me and we’ll adventure so you can adventure stress-free! I’m a university professor who has worked with animals of all kinds my whole life - from the family farm to spending my winters fostering dogs for a rescue in Baja, Mexico. I adopted my two pups there, and have fostered everyone from 4 week old puppies to bumbling big boys. One the greatest joys in my life is finding them forever homes - that perfect match that changes the dog and their new owners’ lives. I foster so many pups that my home feels empty without spares! Your pup will be part of an adventurous household with a fenced yard and two free-spirited rescue dogs. We love our energetic furry friends, but Izzy also loves to cuddle up with belly-rub loving fellow couch potatoes. My little one Winnie was known as the “nanny dog” at the rescue, because she can take care of any puppy and has never met a dog she can’t get along with! Me and my girls love sniffy walks, hikes in the mountains and playtime on the beach when we can make it out on the weekends in our camper van (which I built for the dogs of course).

Nicole was amazing with our pup, Kobe! He had so much fun going on walks with Izzy and Winnie and playing outside, he came home happy and tired. Nicole clearly puts so much care into making every dog feel at home. She sent tons of photos, communicated consistently, and even gave us a polaroid picture of Kobe to take home! We’ll absolutely book with her again anytime we’re in town. Highly recommend!
Nicole was so incredible! She is very personable, welcoming and communicative. I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs with her. Her home is dog friendly and she was extremely flexible. Her dogs are also very sweet and played well with mine! It’s very obvious my dogs were very loved and well taken care of! I received TONS of photos, updates and videos. She even gave a Polaroid picture when I picked them up! Can’t recommend Nicole enough!
Nicole did a wonderful job watching my pup! She sent me plenty of photos and videos, and kept me updated about how she was doing during her entire stay. 5/5- I would definitely book again!

My Princess Leia loved staying with Nicole and her new best friends Izzy and Winnie! She was awesome at sending pictures and videos to me while I was out of town which put my mind at ease knowing my girl was well taken care of and loved. Definitely recommend Nicole to watch your fur babies! Will totally be keeping her as Leia’s baby sitter from now on!😊
Nicole ROCKS! Leaving your furry family while you’re away is never easy, but Nicole made our getaway so enjoyable because she was sending us pics and videos and updates the entire time. Our doggies were so loved and well cared for while in Nicole’s care and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She’s fabulous and really loves the pets she’s caring for. I will absolutely be requesting Nicole for future stays. 100% great experience.

Schedule
I teach at the university, so besides classes and meetings my schedule is flexible. This semester I will be on campus Tuesday and Thursday for 4-6 hours max. And the rest of the time is flexible, work-from-home time, so I get to spend a lot of time with my girls!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a great back lawn with a tall fence. We can do multiple leashed walks a day, and even off leash excursions if your dog wants! I have toys, separate rooms if they need space and can easily crate if necessary. I have been told I send way too many pictures so you’ll always know about all the fun we’re having. I would love to accommodate longer stays too. I do travel some weekends. If a longer period you’re looking for is not available on my schedule, please inquire anyways as I might be able to make it work!

A typical day
So much play time! Leashed walks of any length. Scent games if they are game! Off leash adventures in the mountains if it’s appropriate, and zoomies galore!
