Nicole’s dog Saoirse (pronounced “Seersha”) means the world to us and the kids, so we’ve made sure that the home is very safe for dogs. The backyard is fully fenced in, and Nicole had a gate built to attach to the fence around the front porch to keep any escape artists from getting out! The back yard fence is very high and not possible for them to jump over.

Information Nicole H. would like to know about your pet
A meet and greet is really important, so before we mutually decide if this works, we would invite you over for your dog to get the lay of the land and to meet Saoirse to see how they get along. Saoirse typically loves other dogs (but she is shy around new people) and matches the energy of other dogs, but she can get nervous around very alpha dogs. Also, if your request is for a time when Sarah’s 3 kids are here, it’s important that your dog is Ok with kids and for us to set up a meet and greet for when kids are here.
A typical day
The large fenced in back yard is a huge hit for the dogs that we sit! Your dog will have a blast running around with mine. It’s like their own personal dog park. It’s usually enough exercise for them to run around the yard with each other, but we are happy to walk your dog as well if that is what they like and are used to!

Pet care experience
Temporarily rerouting you to Sarah’s profile for bookings: https://www.rover.com/members/sarah-w-loving-up-your-pets-with-a-smile/ I am taking a break from dog-sitting for family commitments, but my friend and housemate Sarah is available to sit your pet! Same home, same people (and same “house” dog), and same level of care. Please go to Sarah’s profile to book with her directly! Sarah and Nicole are friends/roommates living in a lovely house in Mordecai with a large fenced-in back yard. The house and fenced-in back yard are spacious and very dog friendly, and we both work from home. Note that it is important that your dog gets along with other dogs, as we may have up to 4 dogs (including Nicole’s sweet Aussie mix) at any given time. Sarah also has 3 kids (twin 9 year old girls and a 10 year old boy) who love dogs, and it’s important that your dog is friendly with kids. Your dog will be very spoiled with attention from them! Also, please note that we cannot accommodate last minute booking requests from dogs we have not had a meet and greet with. The meet and greet is essential for the happiness and safety of everyone!
Reviews

Nicole was a wonderful sitter for our Phoebe. Her home is a great setup for dogs. She communicated regularly with updates and pictures, and was very reassuring about our dog’s adjustment to her environment. Phoebe seemed happy and relaxed in her care.

Nicole took great care of Stanley! I will definitely have her watch him again :)

Maeve had a great time with Nicole. Nicole is incredibly communicative and I would trust her with Maeve anytime. Thank you for letting her come stay with you and your pup. When I came to pick up Maeve, you could tell she was very welcome in Nicole’s home!

As always, Nicole is communicative, flexible, a wonderful caretaker, and I never worry about Gus when he stays with her. Huge plus that Gus and Nicole’s pup, Saoirse, love each other so he has a built-in playmate!
