Hi! My name is Nicole. I love animals and have lots of experience caring for them. I have worked through rover for about three years now, and I have lots of experience from other jobs I have done. My most recent job was working at a animal shelter where I was in charge of maintaining both cats and dogs kennels, as well as walking and playing with them. I also volunteered since middle school working with foster animals and finding forever homes for them. From this I have experience handling dogs and cats of pretty much all personality types as I have taken care of so many. I also have experience with newborn kittens and puppies as well. I have experience with elderly dogs from fostering as well as my own family dog who I nursed back to health after he injured his legs leaving him paralyzed for months. I helped him regain movement in his legs through physical therapy, helped administer medicine, and helped him in using the bathroom. I have also cared for cats with paralysis as well from working at a rehabilitation clinic and I have experience bathing and cleaning up after them. I understand how much time and attention it takes for dogs or cats with special needs and if your babies have any specific needs I would be happy to care for them. I have experience working with exotic pets as well, my major is in Environmental Science with a focus in wildlife. I have worked with caring after all types of birds including injured and baby birds, foxes, rabbits, turtles, etc. This work was done at a rehab center where animals would come in in serious condition. From this experience I learned how to keep a level head and know how to help animals in different conditions. I am very patient, detail oriented, and observant when taking care of animals. Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, I make sure that they are in a calm and happy environment. I like to take them out for potty breaks frequently (every 1-2 hours), or as needed. I am very flexible with any preferences that the client has for their pets needs.

Nicole pet sat our dog and two cats and did a wonderful job, sending frequent updates and pictures, going on walks, and giving them lots of attention. She is very tidy while staying in our home and we are always happy to book with her.

Nicole was wonderful with Reese! She kept me updated throughout the stay with thoughtful messages and photos, followed his routine, and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Nicole has been an absolute angel to work with this past week I was traveling. She took good care of my boy and provided multiple updates a day with pictures. I never had to worry about his specific needs or if he was doing okay. I was able to go on vacation without a worry in my mind knowing he was in good hands, and came home to a squeaky clean apartment. Thank you for being so incredible!

I have pets of my own so I have experience caring for them on a daily basis. I understand how much work it takes to care for them and I am happy to do the same for your pets.
