Pets Are Family: Work from Home Animal Lover
We have always had Pets, whether it be rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs or cats. We currently have two guinea pigs and two working cocker spaniels. We believe all animals are family, and our home is their home, they are allowed to go anywhere in the house, on the furniture and even on our bed if that’s where they feel the most safe. We have a large, fenced back garden to play lots of games in. I work from home full time, and my partner works from home three days a week. We love going on long walks, whether it be to the beach, along the canal, up to the lake district – when were not working you can guarantee we have a long walk with our pups planned.

This was only Baileys 2nd time away from us so we were a bit apprehensive about how it would go but Nicole sent updates throughout the day which made us feel much more relaxed! He came back super happy and tired after a full day with Nicole, her partner and 2 dogs. Will definitely look to book with Nicole again! Thanks!
We had such a great experience with leaving Winston with Nicole! She was so easy to work with from start to finish, and kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos which really put our minds at ease. Winston had an amazing time – he came home happily tired (in the best way!), and it was clear he’d been well looked after. We really appreciated how they stuck to Winston’s usual routine, which made everything feel seamless for him. We’ll definitely be booking again – highly recommend!
We could not have been happier with placing Dizzy the spaniel with Nicole - the bonus was that she had two spaniels too! A lovely caring home, with extensive walks nearby. Lots of photos and comms from Nicole to reassure us that Dizzy was OK. She came back happy and worn out for playing with her new friends. The perfect host, thanks!!
Nicole absolutely loves dogs. She has 2 of her own and they are the centre of her life, they are cared for and loved so much. She has looked after mine on several occasions and treats her like her own. She takes them on daily exciting walks and plays in the garden with them all the time. She is absolutely great!

Pet care isn't something I fit into my routine it *is* my routine! My dogs are my life, and pretty much everything in my day revolves around making sure they're happy, healthy, and having fun. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I'm around throughout the day and can easily adapt to whatever your pet needs. One of my favourite parts of the day is taking breaks from my desk to spend time with the dogs, whether that's heading out for a walk, having a quick game in the garden, or just stopping for a cuddle. Our days are built around walks, playtime, enrichment, and lots of companionship. My dogs get several walks a day, and any visiting dogs become part of the family routine. We're lucky to have plenty of lovely walking spots nearby, so there's always somewhere interesting to explore. When we're at home, there's no shortage of attention and affection. I'm definitely the type of person who ends up with dogs on the sofa, curled up at my feet while I work, or sneaking in cuddles whenever I can. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved is really important to me. I'm also happy to accommodate individual needs, whether that's medication, special feeding routines, favourite treats, extra exercise, or a little more patience and reassurance for nervous pets. Every pet is different, and I enjoy getting to know their personalities and routines. I'll always keep owners updated with photos and messages so you can see what your pet is getting up to and have peace of mind while you're away. For me, caring for animals never feels like a job. It's something I genuinely love, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were one of my own.

Ein typischer Tag
A typical day with me is full of walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure your dog feels right at home. My two dogs are usually up and ready to go around 6:30–7:00am, so we start the day with a walk around our quiet village, followed by a game of fetch at the local park. Any dogs staying with us are welcome to join in, and I always make sure walks are suited to their age, energy levels, and individual needs. After breakfast and a bit of downtime, we usually head out again around lunchtime for a longer walk. We're lucky to have lots of great places nearby, including a canal for water loving dogs, open fields, woodland walks, and even a dog-friendly beach. I like to mix things up so every day stays interesting and fun. The afternoons are usually a balance of relaxing and enrichment. We might use snuffle mats, licky mats, play hide and seek, or just enjoy some garden time. I also like to spend a few minutes each day practising basic training and reinforcing good habits, whether that's recall, settling nicely, or simply building confidence. In the evening, we'll often have another short walk or a run around the garden before winding down for the night. There's always plenty of fuss, cuddles, and sofa time, and I do my best to make every dog feel safe, happy, and part of the family while they're with me.
