I do currently have a full time job and I may have errands to run or meet someone for dinner, but the majority of my time can be spent taking care of and just being with your pets, if that is required. I do prefer to stay in the house if you are a drive to cut down on the back and forth. But I normally bring my own food and clean as I go. My goal is to leave the place so you never knew I was there, except that your pet is well taken care of.

I like to meet with the animals first to make sure we are compatible. After that, I am there to keep your routines in tact. If your dog needs walked or fed at specific times, I'm on it. If you cat requires 10 minutes of chin scratches before bed, I got you. If you need to grab a delivery that happens while I'm there, absolutely. I want you to feel 100% confident your pet and house will be cared for. If I'm just walking for you and you have been working on a skull from your dog, let me know. I've put both my dogs through training and understand the importance of consistency.

I've cared for older dogs, so giving medicine and cleaning up accidents are just a part of the job for me. I won't complain or get mad about it. I've had a high anxiety dog, so I've learned coping mechanisms, as well. Just let me know ahead of time and I'll treat your animal right.
A typical day
Whether you have a pup or an older dog, I make sure the dog is stimulated with play and cuddles. I love to go on walks, so sniff time can happen, rain or shine. I clean up on the walls, too, so neighbors won't be cranky. I usually bring a book to read, so snuggles will also be a thing.

We have always had pets in the house, so taking care of them like they are family comes naturally. I currently have dogs, so understand the needs that come with ownership and will respect you and your animals the same way. I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, spiders, rabbits, fish, and reptiles, so whatever your friend, I can help. I have reasonable rates and stay in your home so the animals don't have to get accustomed to a new environment, lessening the stress on them. I have cared for elder dogs and puppies alike so will clean up after them as required. If all you need is a walker, I can help, too. I have to walk my dogs a good distance to keep them calm (2+ miles), so I have sturdy shoes and am prepared to use them. I hope I can be of assistance to you!

Nicki is great. She has watched our crazy household for years. We have cats, dogs and a Amazon Parrot. Even my spooked out cats come out and socialize with her when she comes to take care them.
I can't think of anyone I would recommend more highly than Nicki. She loves animals, she cares deeply about them and she is highly responsible. She has taken care of our dog for many years. Whenever we returned, he was happy and calm. Nicki always goes above and beyond, spending lots of time with him, playing and making sure he had good walks. She also took great care of our son's cat when he was visiting. You - and your pets - will be lucky to have them in Nicki's care.
Nicki did an amazing job pet sitting for us while we were away for a week. She didn't just make sure our pets had food and water. She made sure they were had companionship. She sent regular reports on how everyone was doing and even reaching out when she became concerned. My animals can be very skiddish, but they loved their time with Nicki. Would highly recommend her.
