I’ve been taking care of cats for 35 years. Growing up, we always had at least 2-4 cats as pets. Some were rescues and some adopted us. I’ve been Pet sitting other people’s cats and dogs, and house sitting since 2013. I’m open to caring for other animal species, though I don’t have experience with them. The reason why I joined Rover to become a pet sitter is because I know how stressful it can feel to leave your dear family member at home with a new person, and I wanted to provide an the experience for others that I wanted for myself. I find pet sitting very fulfilling because I strive to not only care for your pet but also ensure they are loved. Cats have always had a special place in my heart. I am also very grateful for the experience of helping pet owners feel safe and at ease while they are out of town. Pet sitting in house sitting is such a fun way to be of service. How I care for my own pet My current kitty and family member is Buddy (King Buddy his Royal Sweetness). I’ve had him since 2020. I’m unsure of his age because he was a rescue. I provide him a nourishing environment with his special rugs, and hiding places. I make him a fort cave in the bed everyday. We have Lots of play time and he has a big backyard to play and sunbathe. He gets Plenty of cuddles throughout the day, and I feed him a high quality diet. I strive to understand his behaviors and communications to the best of my abilities. Through research, close attention, and noticing patterns, I feel confident in understanding his needs in the moment and why he behaves the way he does. I’m interested and open minded to finding ways I can make his life even more enjoyable.

Care includes; feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up pet messes, cuddles and sending you photos. I am open to giving medication, though my only experience with it is putting it on food. I offer additional support such as plant watering, putting out the weekly trash, and mail retrieval. I love and appreciate all animals. I will care for your pet/s as you would care for them. I value respecting your boundaries for your pets and your home. I Always make sure your home is safe and secure upon leaving. As someone who has experience hiring pet sitters, I know that communication, consistency, and trust are top priority.

Nicole is amazing! Rocky is very shy meeting new people, but he warmed up to Nicole on the first visit. She was patient with him; she gave him the space he needed to get used to her being there and she spoke to him in a kind and gentle voice. He eventually came up to her and let her know he needed to go outside. I'm so happy with this decision and it has eliminated so much stress. It's such a piece of mind having someone so amazing help look after my boy.

Nicole did a great job with my two kitties! I loved getting the daily updates and pictures showing how much fun they were having together. It was comforting to know my cats were being taken care of while my family and I were away on vacation. I have found my new go-to pet sitter!

Schedule
I work part time from home so my schedule is very flexible. I am available anytime, everyday. For a few days of the month I am out of town, but when I leave is flexible. I will update my calendar regularly.
